I don't recall seeing the horn as well.

Heck, I figured the symbols were used since they were in the episodes at one point or another. I remember the butterfly one and the seahorse was recent. Guess I was way off.

What's scarier is there is a fringepedia website.

I'm going to have to pick up the first season when it comes out on DVD. I've not seen it recently, but has anyone else noticed that when a bell is struck, Olivia has a flash back to her time w/Bell? I've seen it this season, but not in a recent episode. I'm also sort of glad they're getting Astrid more involved, but STILL would like her to have some sort of partner from the FBI, to fill Charlie's shoes. I guess, story wise, it's hard to just bring someone in to the Fringe Unit…or whatever they're calling it. But it would be nice, perhaps Andy Richter….j/k

Now we have to wait until April for new episodes? Is this because of that STUPID AMERICAN IDOL? We're turning into a nation of veal. Great last episode btw…walter once again delivers 2 gems…..#1] while Olivia appears to be going into some sort of seizure when the drug is administered, Walter mumbles to himself this is bad and then yells for Peter to grab his bag….and get him the pretzels. Which he proceeds to munch on whilest trying to figure out what to do next. #2] Peter wakes Walter up to tell him (sarcastically)get up Walter we just won an all expenses paid trip to NYC (they just got a call from Olivia and they're needed to check out an event scene) to which Walter has a big smile and says "this is wonderful…i've never won anything before!!" There are probably others that I can't recall, those two stuck out for me.

I cannot wait until Thursday, I love this show.

That JJ Abrams got his act wired tight…I was never a fan of LOST, but I've liked almost everything else he's done/been affiliated with to this point. Oddly I was never a huge X-Files fan, if I was spinning through the dial and saw it, I'd watch, but never made it a priority. The show is cleverly written and the cast is solid. More twists then a pretzel factory keeps Monkette and I coming back for more! I'm hoping FOX doesn't get ridiculous w/the DVD pricing.

I'm hoping the opening credits will return to normal and were only "retro" to reflect the mid – 80s theme! Decent show! Suprisingly sedate considering the subject matter, hopefully next week will be a little more up tempo…this whole epi was strictly exposition for Olivia's sake.

I never liked Lost as well, I do like Fringe. I have missed a few eps, guess I will be trekking over to hulu to catch them….

I've been way behind on my episodes of Fringe and got caught up by watching 2 episodes last night (along w/2 episodes of Flashforward) and Walter never disappoints two new qoutes..

Walter: Do you know what you are putting into our bodies? Death, delicious strawberry flavored death.

and

Astrid: You've been smoking marijuana

Walter: I hardly classify what I've just smoked as marijuana, it's a hybrid of Chronic Supernova and Afghani Kush. I call it Brown Betty.

How long will i have to wait for the next season?

Leonard Nimoy looks and sounds bad…probably why he's turning it in for acting…I miss Charlie and wish they would figure a way to bring him back full time!

What kind of disppointed me with the last episode is that they used the standard double double switch. Olivia dyes her hair red, puts on the clothes of the 'evil' Olivia. Then the evil Olivia shows up at the end wearing the same clothes. Do all evil doubles keep two sets of the same cloths in their closet? With a show like Fringe the producers/writers should have come up with a more original idea.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

I have to agree w/you on this one…very hackneyed and i expect so much more from the "bad robot" folks. And yes, they do always keep an extra set around just in case…i can't prove it of course but it sounded good!

We watched it today. Little too predictable to me. Liked the finale for Grey's Anatomy better.

(SPOILER ALERT POSSIBLE)

For some reason I thought I posted a new post here. Mmmm. I must have did it in the alternate universe PUG site thats named GUP (General Universal Paranormal site). Anyhow…from what I have read it seems the producers do a little cheating here by doing a 2 for 1 special…use both universes to tell stories by alternating episodes between the two. Kind of unique but also kind of unnessary. Not showing the alter-verse was kind of a mystery but going back and forth will cause it to loose its mystery.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

The above are my opinions.

Geesh Fox and my cable company are still fueding over Money which has caused FOX to pull several of their stations (including the one that carrys Fringe) off the air. Guess I can always watch a rerun…Oh wait…networks don't show reruns anymore…its always new shows somewhere….

*****POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT**************

Something I just noticed…episodes that have the red tinted intro are based in the alternate universe and ones in the "regular" universe are the normal greenish/blue intro. The only thing I really like about the alternate universe is that Charlie is there he was one of my favorites…

Best Walterism from this episode?

Walter:(to Peter) Fine, if you end up breaking the universe, this time it's on your head.
