Ok. Two new topics in ten minutes. What can I say? Anyway, I am intrigued by the massive drama on this one. The show was edited to show thermal footage of a "mysterious" animal on thermal. The viewer is left thinking it is a possible cryptid. Sadly, the investigators knew it was a horse or cow, but this was, apparently, edited out. Then it comes out (via the cast, I will say, to their credit) that the editors spliced in sounds to replace knocking and screams that were not caught in the field (http://www.cryptomundo.com/cry…..ding-bf-4/). One of the cast goes on the aforementioned boards and blasts all his detractors with harsh language and personal insults. Here is a later quote from the same cast member:" Not even you will write me off … not off of anything. You are your family will be my fans, for all quantitative purposes, whether you like it or not." I'd love Zak Bagans to say something similar!!!!!

Wow, I hadn't heard anything about this. I haven't seen the show either.

They did hear the knock and screams in the field, but those didn't record well, so they threw in "recreated" knocks and screams but didn't tell the viewer it was recreated. If it's not an obvious recreation, they definitely should have said and/or printed text on the screen about the recreation.

Shame on the producers (if that is who made the decision) into giving the viewers the impression that a cow was Bigfoot. How sad!

If you read the comments on Loren Coleman's blog about this (Reign posted the link above), there is someone posting as matt_moneymaker (who is a cast member of the show and founder and president of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization) and hurling insults at his and the show's detractors, such as "you dumb redneck" and "only worthless weenies like you," among others.

He sounds precious.

If there's one thing about PR skills I've picked up from various people, it's DO NOT go out in public and criticize people's views about your work. And by all means, don't start calling people names. If anything, thank them for their opinion and move on. It just makes you look tacky, childish, a bit crazy, and like you are trying to hide something.

I just saw a show the other night on Big Foot. I think it was on the Travel Channel.

There was a couple who had a house in the woods and they would hear weird noises at night and find footprints near the house. Then they went on to interview other people who say they have seen this creature in the woods.

Not sure if I am buying any of this…..

She didn't just say that!!???? (*Yes she did indeed.) Forget the book, the reviews and her handling of the reviews is a book in itself! Thanks!!!!

Nope. That was this show! It was episode two based in Florida where they used the recorded growl. Would have been an amazing catch had it been legit….

Holy moly, she needs to change her name and start all over, preferably with spellcheck and a refresher on how to succeed in business. Glad she's not my daughter!

The latest episode showcased very unprofessional conduct. I must say, Moneymaker is living up to is **** reputation. I like Cliff Barackman, he is a very solid researcher, and one of the first to use and acquaint himself with thermal technology. He is very thorough as well. I must admit, I can't help but like Bobo. The other two really detract from the show imho. Off to check out that link..

Andy- I agree with you. Also, is it me or is this show 3 out of 3 for thermal hits? At least one per episode? C'Mon!!! The skeptic seemed fine to me UNTIL she had basically abandoned her skepticism by the third episode (which was actually the show's FIRST investigation, but shown third). Not even going to comment on the fact that it is made by the same production company that makes DT…..wait….just did.

I watched Finding BF for the first time the other day. I would be surprised if that guy could find his car keys in his own pocket.

The girl whether just there for effect or not did make valid points.

I am a believer in the possibility of the existence of BF but have yet to see any BF hunter that will find one with their hunting tactics. So far they all look like ghost hunters looking for BF.

IMO, they will never find a BF using conventional hunting methods for a known species when looking for an unknown species. The methods and ideas I see make it seem like they don't really believe it exists. Could these shows be like GH and just for entertainment and not to be taken seriously also?

hahhaa….As long as this Big Foot stuff has been going on, i have not seen any evidence that does not look fake or set up.

So i'm not sure whether it even exists…..I have more of a chance meeting a ghost i think…

Not to get too far off-topic, but I tend to believe the Patterson/Gimlin footage is real. *ducks and covers*

Yes, and the last one where moneymaker chases off into the forest, you can tell it is a person, and one that is not comfortable trudging through the woods. They way he negotiates the log/stump/branch as he is trying to get away is the way a person would, especially if they were trying to run in the dark.

B.F. is quietly retired on a private reserve in Hawaii – he sued some people for copyright and privacy invasion and won a "bigfoot" load of $$$$ .. He learned quickly the way of humans… /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Andy- Couldn't agree with you more. It was a human. Moneymaker himself has said it was a person and blames the production company for the omission of his saying as much.

I know I'm new here but I can't help but put my 2 cents in. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

For starters I find that almost every cryptozoology show I have watched has placed way too much emphasis on what they catch on the thermal at night in the woods. Its the woods. Its at night. There are critters. Anyone suprised? Anyone?

#2, People can be as childish as they like, it helps me weed out who I think is credible and who I just stop paying attention to.

Cheers!
