Zak was a trip. I love Aaron's faces, they say volumes.

I have been really enjoying the show.

Liked these guys when I rented their dvd.

Was it Aaron that had to leave in their film? /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I can't remember.

.

I think Aaron's reluctance to do or go into certain places adds a lot of credibility to the show. I see a lot of posts about how they "scream and run like little girls". I think the people who make these statements don't realize how intimidating these locations can really be and many would run away themselves. The GA team shows a lot of guts to do what they do IMHO. Actually the early episode in the Goldfield Hotel was the only time they actually "ran" from an incident which makes this statement a misnomer anyway.

"They insisted that the victim animals simply had died of dog bites from dogs or other animals. They suggested that disease might have been responsible for one animal's death. They denied that the victims had been exsanguinated, as many witnesses had claimed, and even suggested that the puncture wounds reported might be from barbed wire. Callers reminded them that some wounds were deep enough to reach into the victims' lungs, that the flesh was not torn as in dog bites, that signs of struggles were inexplicably missing, and that corpses did not decay normally, but their arguments were brushed aside. Also brushed aside were callers' attempts to bring extraterrestrials into the conversation.

When the recording ended. I rewound it and played it again and again. I still could not believe what I was hearing. The callers had the skeptics pinned against the ropes from the very first call." - Scott Corrales

I think a lot, not all, of the naysayers of the show don't really watch it and are only repeating what they have heard others say. Fake or not, at least GA is not the snorefests that are GH and GHI.

Just saw something interesting…

I just went to the Travel Channel website where I saw that GA is doing their live event (Oct 30) at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. Last night's lead-in episode of GH was at this location. I wonder how many times SyFy will run this episode to distract us from GH and the Travel Channel? /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Cheryl and I just finished interviewing Zak, Nick and Aaron for the October issue and for a podcast that will come out at the beginning of October. They are a lot of fun to talk to, and boy the live event promises to be very cool. October 30, 8 p.m. Eastern, Travel Channel. It is 7 hours, so I'd suggest lots of food on hand or Tivo.

The guys were absolutely awesome and answered all the questions we had time for in the hour. We got in most of the member questions in too!

Live show looks wonderful. If I'm home, I'll watch. If I'm out, I'll record and watch later!

I should be home to watch it but I doubt the spousal unit will want to watch it with me.

I just finished writing the GA article and editing the podcast with the GA Crew. The podcast should be available on 10/1 and is really entertaining. The magazine with the article will be out a few days later. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I am so looking forward to this.

Hey guys, just a little info on what I have experienced in the past on the Travel Channel forums during Live events. It appears that Ghost Adventures will be using much of the same format that Most Haunted has used.

Unless Travel Channel has upgraded their servers exponentially, it will become jammed before the investigation ever starts. Two years ago in the spring it shut down and never came back up in the entire 6 hour period. A few lucky posters got through, but for the most part they relied on text messages for the content streaming on the bottom of the screen. They didn't have a "Chat" option (still don't, I believe).edit: I take that back. Just went back over there and saw the Live Chat option. My bad. There were at least two dozen threads started on each question and many flame wars between newbies and veterans because of this.

Your best bet…come to the chat here!
