You know – I felt like she was actually fairly cryptic about the evidence on the show. I must say though – she sounds like she's got a serious axe to grind with Pilgrim, but that's a story we've heard before.

So did I, but I also thought the betrayal she felt was loud and clear.

With pilgrim I think there may be something fishy going on.

Donna had mentioned when they signed the contracts it was not what they were previously told.

I have none of the facts and dislike speculation, but I think Donna's a smart cookie.

Something seems wrong, just sayin.

I listened to the link but all I heard was Donna hemming, hawing and side stepping direct answers because she was afraid of legal action. All that I saw that really came out of the interview was a disgruntled ex Taps member. It makes her look like she is just complaining about not being the star or making a lot of money and being screwed over but not really saying anything.

Now, I am not a Taps fan but I can tell you that is what they will say about the interview. They should have thought out the questioning better before the interview. The interview really didn't expose Taps for anything that we didn't know already from what I can see.

Maybe she just needs to be interviewed by better interviewers.

that's true, but the fact a member is starting to speak is a big deal.

eventually i'm sure we'll hear from more of them, and the legal threats

i would bet are legit, so i dont blame her there.

i think the fact syfy keeps poofing any thread discussing this says VOLUMES.

we discuss the faking theory all the time, but discussing the fact Donna

alludes to it is not allowed??? hmmmmm

Perhaps PUG ought to do a podcast with Donna.

We had her lined up at one point, and she fell through.

Okay – so here's something that is kind of bothering me. Donna is claiming that the contract totally screwed them – or at the very least they had a "bad entertainment lawyer." At what point does one take responsibility for what it is that they signed? I've seen some pretty bad lawyering before, and the truth be told, if I hadn't read every single word of what I was signing, I would have been screwed. But I wasn't. Why? Because it was my responsibility to read and understand the contract that would legally bind me. Yeah – you hire a lawyer to help you with these things, but really, read the contract, and if something doesn't seem right, don't sign until it does. Period.

I agree with you on that one Karen.

You have to read everything you sign, dont take someone else's word for it, no matter who they are.

That being said, if it was in a lot of "legaleze" it may have been difficult for a lay person to understand.

Who knows *shrugs*

I wonder if she had an agent doing all the work for her. If she did then she should have a talk with him/her. Otherwise she is responsible for signing her name on the dotted line.

Of course professional sports has made contracts really non-binding with the way that athletes hold out for more or do something that is not in their contract.

Donna had agreed to do an interview for our very first issue back in June 2008, but then it never happened. I'm not exactly sure why. My guess is that she was busy at the time and either forgot about it or decided she didn't want to do it any more. I had read online that she was ill as well, but that is second hand info, so I don't know for sure.

Kim is right though. There was a lot of alluding to faking results but nothing concrete was presented as proof. I am very curious to know what was faked and how she knew about it, etc. Who did the faking? Who knew about it? Are there other people who know about it and will go on record and confirm what they know?

You get the picture!

Legally I'm sure that was all she could do was allude to it.

why do you think syfy is working so hard to silence this info?

I think if she were just a little more clever, she could have said she heard this or that from another Taps member, which would have made it hearsay and she would be off the hook.

I am not saying she doesn't know anything but she is coming across as more of a disgruntled ex cast member than credible witness to Taps fakery. However, I am sure we haven’t heard the last of this and I am sure people will come forward if they think others are also.

What I found the most interesting was her saying things about being threatened for speaking out. Or did I imagine that part since no one seems to be talking about it?

She did say she was bullied, basically, for speaking out.

and now her MySpace page is gone and fake ones are popping up.

i believe she'll be bullied for this.

i actually find it far more credible the way she responded.

she sounded like she wanted to say more but couldnt. had

she said "i heard from another member…" THAT would have

sounded fake to me.

Too much crap basically. Even her family seems not to understand why this is getting so much attention.

She said what she had to say, and it appears she is moving on.
