Please see Donna's response to my blog today.
Nice statement Karen from you and Donna. I think if she knew then what she knows now, Donna would have never signed up for GH and GHI. Its a a shame that the proper counseling was never given as to what to expect from becoming a tv "celeb".

Starting off with I am a Hardcore Skeptic of the paranormal, and I say this
so there is no misunderstanding of what I believe!
Now this point has been touched on by Donna former cast member of GH and GHI
but I felt somethings needed to be brought up!
1. Donna is right she's not the smoking gun because Taps own videos are in fact their undoing!
2. Donna claims that people were putting an untrue spin on what she said and I truly disagree!
She gave a interveiw and people played what she said so where's the untrue spin? She then ran
to Ron Tebo from Scifake .com who is a glory hound that doe's everything he can to become
famous! And then of course Donna attacked debunkers on you tube and the ghost diva's themselves
all because she got herself in trouble!
3. She also went running back to Jason who gladly stuck a knife in her back and I doubt she even
knows that the knife is still there! SYFY and Pilgrim was going to let this whole thing just blow over
and walk away from it! Jason however did indeed have other plans and ended up royally pissing
off almost all of SYFY's execs by trying to make it sound has if he was acting on their behalf! SYFY
and Pilgrim both knew if this would ever reach a courtroom other witnesses would be called to testify
under oath and penalty of perjury! They also knew it would become public record that anyone could get
a hold of, and with this being the case it wouldn't have happened! Jason in fact was finally told by both
SYFY and Pilgrim to shut the hell up, the wording was just that simple!
4. There wouldn't have been any lawsuit against Donna that was all Jason sticking that in her head and
one has got to wonder just how gullible she really is! Jason played her like a fiddle!
5. She backtracked and started claiming she never said the things that she said which in most peoples
minds left her looking like an idiot!
Like it or not Donna needs to grow up and take responsibility for her own actions! Needless to say she
fouled herself by claiming she almost had to file for bankruptcy,…am I not right! She then claimed on this
very site that she didn't want to get sued and lose everything that she had earned, a contradiction to say the
least!

There was tremendous spin on the GD interview. And, Donna didn't retract anything she said in the GD interview. She stood by her statements. I believe what she did say is that she regretted saying them because of the turmoil it caused after the fact.
You speak like you know 100% what the SyFy and Pilgram execs said in this case. How do you know this? Do you work for them? Where do you get your information?
Sure there could have been a lawsuit. I don't understand why you think it was not even a possibility.

No I don't work for SYFY or Pilgrim but I do know someone who works for SYFY and the fact that neither
recognized nor issued any statements about it are pretty telling also! The only one Donna spoke with was
Jason and at no time did Donna talk to Pilgrim or SYFY, so you don't need to be a genius to figure this one out!
And yes Donna was on You Tube claiming she never said half of what she did say and then telling people
they need to take down their videos! I read her posts myself and what she said on here was not the same has
what she said on You Tube!

What would have been at issue in a court of law was whether or not she broke a contract that she had signed, not whether Ghosthunters is faking evidence. I don't think that a judge would have allowed anything that was presented that had nothing to do with the case at hand. So, since the lawsuit would have been whether Donna violated the Nondisclosure Agreement she had signed, then anything presented that had nothing to do with the case (TAPS fakes stuff) would have been thrown out. Plus, Donna said she did not have any actual proof of shenanigans on Pilgrims part.
I agree with MysticalKnight. What Donna said was spun by TAPS naysayers to fit their own agenda, she never accused TAPS themselves of faking evidence, of staging evidence, or anything like that. She alluded to Pilgrim being somehow responsible, but never came out and said it. I can only go on what I have personally heard or read. So, unless you can provide proof to back up what you are saying, you need to realize that I can only take it as your personal opinion, and nothing more.

Unlike much of what you've written above, I don't make assumptions and come to "obvious" conclusions without proof. I've seen innocent people go to jail based upon "obvious conclusions."

No, the spin had nothing to do with simply "playing" the interview. The untrue spin came when others said Donna accused TAPS of staging/faking. She did not say that. If you believe she said that, I'd suggest you listen to the GD interview again.
Believe me, I have thought it through. I have analyzed the situation. I even went to the task of transcribing Donna's portion of the GD interview and looking at what she said there and what she said here and on the other site you mentioned. She did not say TAPS faked evidence in the GD interview.
Your friend at the exec's office gave you information that you have taken and then made conclusions based on supposition.

What would have been at issue in a court of law was whether or not she broke a contract that she had signed, not whether Ghosthunters is faking evidence. I don't think that a judge would have allowed anything that was presented that had nothing to do with the case at hand.
