I saw it listed last night but didn't watch it. Unexplained lights just doesn't do anything for me. I do wonder about the Marfa lights since they are in Texas but beyond that no clue. Perhaps I should look into it some more.

I agree mysterious lights aren't at the top of my list either but its better than watching someone dissect the Patterson-Gimlin film for the 20th time. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' />

Brown Mountain Lights (not from the show)

This is kind of weird but I do surveys on my computer at home for extra money & I just did one on a new paranormal show for Syfy. It's about a woman named Mary, she's Italian, I think & has a radio

show (local) & the show is about her & her family. It really didn't look good, she seemed fake to me anyway. They showed me part of the show & asked my opinions of several different things.

She's psychic & so is her daughter & she does readings on her call-in radio show & for private clients. I don't know if the show will make it to air, they don't tell you in the survey (obviously).

I'll be waiting to see if it airs though.

I did a survey once. I was walking through a local (at the time) mall when asked to participate in a survey/poll about a Disney movie called "Newsies" that was in production. I watched a few scenes and was highly underwhelmed and told them so. I just didn't think that the early 90s was the right time for a bad movie musical that wasn't even animated. The movie eventually came out almost 2 years later and pretty much went straight to video. Perhaps given the change over w/interest in musicals today, it might do better today...but considering what a dead outlet the print media has become, it might still fail.

Don't worry 'bout it lt...as Ryan correctly points out, there quite a few people here (myself included) who've become a little bored w/all the overkill and sell out that seems to be happening in the field. I'm not sure who said it, but a member here had commented that maybe once the "fad" aspect of the field dies down (no pun intended) then some serious progress can be made going forward. Folks (like TAPS) carried the torch for a bit, but seem to have lost their way, but perhaps the positive strides they made can be furthered by those unencumbered by sponsors and production houses.

You're not insulting anyone. Most of us agree that the majority of the shows out there leave something to be desired.

Obviously they're trying to take a different approach to distinguish the show from all the other paranormal programs out there. Examining one aspect of a topic is not a bad idea at all. I think the issue with the Phoenix Lights episode is that there just isn't that much to analyze when you're only looking at one short piece of film and a couple of eye witness reports. I've talked with people in Phoenix from that incident and there was a lot more going on then mentioned on the show. I guess that NatGeo is trying to keep it "scientific" as much as possible.

I'd like to see some more episodes in this series so I hope they decide to keep it around for a while.

That's what they were saying. If a ghost is made of neutrinos (or however it's spelled) then they would be invisible to the naked eye and to current ghost hunting equipment.

I want to watch this epi again, about the ghosts being invisible to the naked eye. This is one of the few shows, I like anymore. Great format. Looking at the show schedule, just see the same two epi's running.

Hope it gets picked up as a series, it was filling my expectations on what a paranormal show should be.

I think, I'm out of the what's that, did ya hear that, even as far as entertainment goes. It's the same in so many shows, and has become not even entertaining.
