Steve is a fornicating anus. Can I say that? I realized that a few seasons back when he told Brian to do something a certain way and whan he did it he was reamed out by Jason. And while Brian was being reamed out, Steve just sat there with a smirk on his face and didn't say he was the one who told Brian to do it that way. Fornicating anus.

Also he likes to go into these historical sites and start treating items there like toys, moving around items such as chairs that could be a couple of hundred years old like they were his own. Steve is a immature person in my opinion and I don't care how well he knows how to operate a DVR.

Lately he reminds me of the charector Tom Hanks played in the movie BIG. A 13 year old trapped in a grown mans body.

Like others stated we don't know what happens behind the scenes and with editing I'm sure we are missing out on a lot. When you have a group that only allows friends to be on the show then there will be favoritism. Some will benefit while others will eventually be kicked to the curb.

I think his behavior on that show speaks for itself.

I believe that is it in a nutshell for all of them. The criticism they get stems from their behavior. A lot of people will defend TAPS to the death but their behavior speaks for itself and once it is out there on TV for all to see it is hard to retract or defend.

For those who watched regularly they will remember Brian being yelled at for the dude run episode. What many forget is that shortly after that Jason made a new rule called "When in doubt, Get out!"

That's correct Jason did make that rule, and I believe it was repeated more than once.

Let's also remember that this is a pre-taped and edited show. The segment of Brian running could certainly have been taken out prior to airing. Steve has certainly been deemed "special" by someone at the top and even pushed into his own show, Ghost Hunter's Academy. I think his behavior on that show speaks for itself.

is it me or do j&g only yell at certain ones for not being professional. what i mean is brain ran and yelled and got his butt reamed out. andy got a weird feeling in one epi while going up to the attic. and he got a butt reaming. the girls get told about doing certain things. and not looking like a professional. but and here is a big but. steve screams and shouts and runs from spiders. doen't look professional. but never gets told. wounder why?

Brian was picked on terribly and Steve was always coddled. Maybe there is more to the Jason-Steve relationship than the viewers are privy too. However, no matter how it is presented, if you watch, then it is obvious that Jason had a chip on his shoulder for Brian.

I had heard a story some time back that Jason was jealous of Brian's popularity with the audience and began setting him up on the shows to make him look bad. However, it was just a story I heard.

My personal opinion would lean towards the jealousy theory however.
