Ohhh -- okay – maybe I'll post that one. That one was scary!

The one Ryan is talking about is freeky, I can't make it out.

But, it's disturbing in the tone.

Idk, the other could be an owl. Was it recorded at night, or at dusk?

I look for owls, and talk to the park rangers about them. I'm not an expert.

They are elusive, though. I've looked for them during my life, and only have seen two.

A Barn and a Great Horned. But, a Great Horned lives behind me going on five years.

Very noisy at times I hear him in my house. The hooting, but the screeching is the loudest, which echos.

You will hear an Owl long before you see one.

Hawks have a similar screech and are out during the day and visible.

It sounds like a Hawk or an Owl to me, depending what time of day it was.

It was about noon when it was recorded.

My first thought when I heard it was owl – but I do know we didn't hear it when it was happening. You tend to be heightened senses up at Wellington and aware of every sound because there is so much odd stuff that happens. On one trip, Jim farted and the kids were certain that they were about to be eaten by a cougar.

Hey guys – after our investigation of Wellington on Sunday night for the 100 year anniversary, I've come across a few audio anomalies. I didn't actually run my recorder much, but I seem to have uncovered at least four pretty good ones. They are posted here.. You'll need headphones.

I'll be interested to hear what you think.

Well, ****, I had a problem opening them. The second one froze my computer. I don't usually have problems. I'll try again tomorrow because I want to hear them.

I have some that are kind of "junkier" – where things are heard under people talking, etc. Or they might be animals – that type of thing. They would be Class C at best. I'm not going to post them because of the quality and how difficult it might be to misinterpret something as an EVP that isn't, but if you'd like me to email you a copy of them, just PM me with your email address and I'll send them. There are maybe three or four of them.

Also – NWPIA has their "stop stop" Wellington EVP posted on their home page from Sunday night. It is on the right hand side of the page towards the top.
