OfflineOMG … how did we not think of that?

Actually, there is a technique for creating sound out of thin air using modulated ultrasonic beams. I could elaborate, but you've probably already lost interest. I have tons of useless information rattling around in my skull, but I have no idea how to project a voice onto a recorder without anyone hearing it. Boppy is still at large, laughing at those who mock the box.

Yes. As we were driving into Olympia today, I was peppering poor Jim with questions about how that mmmhmmm…bobby….hi could have gotten on the H4 and the Olympus. So far, nada.
OfflineFor those of you interested in the history of the avalanche, there is a particularly well-written book in our bookstore about it. It is called The White Cascade. The research and story telling is impeccable.

OfflineWe returned to Wellington for a "day hike" with the kids in tow. Actually – they begged to be taken. They took recorders. Some interesting audio was captured. I'd be interested to see what you think. It is posted here. And an image, which is most likely a play of light/matrixing. What do you think??

I see a form, trying not to matrix when I look.
Did you look at these close up? Curious?
I read your blogs and accounts, (boy following you). Very interesting. Do you know what the heighth may be of this figure?

I'm going to guess judging by the height of a person standing under the snow shed that it is probably between four and six feet tall. We were about 50 yards away at the time. Tanner was using a camera that was only about 6 megapixels, unfortunately. I had the 12 megapixel one -it would have been ideal to take a picture with that. Oh well. I did blow up the images to about 400% – I dunno. It's a tough one.
I did feel that the boy – or some child-like entity from the feel of it – did follow me a lot when we were there on Sunday.
We also had an interesting experience down on the bridge that freaks me out. I had the same type of apprehension as before – although that could have been left over from my previous experience. Still, I forced myself to walk across it several times (even sitting down on it at one point). I first walked across it with Jim and the kids. Then later, I walked across it with just the kids. On our way back over it, it struck me that I should try speaking Italian on the bridge. The reason? Because there were several railroad workers who died in the avalanche who were unnamed Italian immigrants. It is one of the reasons that the number of the dead is only estimated – because they didn't know how many Italians (who were working to keep the trains dug out of the snow) disappeared in the avalanche and how many had walked of the job. Some of the passengers who were on the train actually referred to these hard working men who were out shoveling for hours on end in an attempt to save the passengers as "the scum of the earth". Probably it was how things were at the time – but the bottom line is that many of these men sacrificed themselves, died there, and were never acknowledged or remembered. A lot of these men were Italian, and it occurred to me that perhaps that was what this angry, protective feeling was on the bridge.
As we passed across it with the kids, we stopped and I called out Ciao bella! I have a voice immediately after saying "Ciao" to me. I'm not sure if I posted that one in the EVP gallery or not. Oh – it looks like I didn't. Because I need to check to make sure it wasn't one of the kids saying "ciao" back to me even though they didn't know I was going to do that. Anyway – as soon as I called out, "Ciao bella," the temperature dropped precipitously and I got a huge spike on my Trifield meter. We tried some other Italian phrases, as well. At one point, something on the bridge shoved Matthew after we called out in Italian.
We walked away from the bridge and went to get Jim and Kevin. We walked back to the bridge and set up a motion activated game camera (I haven't looked at the results of it yet). I asked Jim if he knew any Italian phrases. Instead of speaking in Italian, he began chanting part of a Latin mass (Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem. Pie Jesu Domine, donne eis requiem sempiternam). Again, the temperature plunged and EMF spiked each time he chanted it. So then I started talking about how it must be difficult to have worked as hard as they did trying to save the passengers on that train for little pay, with no respect and to then not even have had their name remembered or the work they did there. I said that we remembered, that we appreciated, and that we could share the sacrifice they made with the world. I will tell you this – the feeling on that bridge changed drastically. Jim then chanted the Latin mass again, and the temperature stayed the same and there was no EMF spike. The bridge no longer makes me anxious. That could all be psychological – it is difficult to tell.
Later, Jim hiked down to the debris field where the trains came to rest on a shelf above the river. There is still debris there, 100 years later. He photographed some of it, which I'll paste below so you can see some of it. It was too steep to take the kids down – they weren't wearing hiking boots.

OfflineI tried not to Matrix while I looked at the pic as well !
I'm seeing an outline form though. Thanks Karen this
Wellington Investigation is very interesting.
Yeah – we're not done with it. Too much going on there to not keep looking into it. There is a team, NWPIA who investigates most of the non-snowy season every year several times a week. If you click on their link, you can find some of their evidence from Wellington. Here is the link to NWPIA's investigation of Wellington.

Great site and awesome EVP's, Thanks! That would be a fun investigation.
OfflineI actually felt something this time, because I wasn't locked in on trying to walk down a dark tunnel while filming. It was nothing more than a slight upset of my stomach, but it came and went quickly and it was locational/repeatable. Since I'm usually the psychic equivalent of a lead-lined bank vault, it was a little unsettling at first.
Of course, the loudest unexplained noise we got all day was me baking a monster air biscuit and keeping it to myself. It won't be posted as an EVP, but inside that concrete snowshed it was so loud that Karen and the kids all reached for their pepper spray. I think the trigger guard on the pretty pink princess taser may even have been opened.
Some of the "ghost crying" we got while playing with the toy train was a bit freaky as well. I heard absolutely nothing at the time, but it was pretty clear when we played it back.

Only, however, because he didn't 'fess up that it was him and let everyone think it was a wild animal. He kept totally quiet about it.
I have the audio. It sounded like a growling animal. Seriously.

Good job Jybian. The growling animal effect. That is serious Man Talent.

It was a good rip, but the concrete shelter added a lot of resonance to it.
The best part was the kids yelling at me to whip out my combat knife and defend them. At that point I just had to run with it…

Now I have to go back and analyze all of the evidence when Jim was in the vicinity for random noises and black clouds….

I can only imagine the reverberation and someone yelling "DUDE RUN!" Now that's
