It appears that we are going to investigate a private residence on the 19th of this month. It's a local house here in McLennan County. The team is going in cold, only knowing where the hotspots are but not the type of activity. I have some new equipment and stuff to work into the gameplan. I got a new DAR, it's an Olympus model, since I am getting rid of the RCA pieces of crap. The other main new piece is a wireless camera system. I intend to mount it to a hat and let someone carry it during the investigation. It will be recording both video and audio on my laptop. I got the camera at Wal-Mart for $84 and then I am buying the battery for it for $20 this week. Hopefully it will be in on time.

So as more stuff comes up on this case, I'll post what I can. We also might have another investigation or two coming up pretty soon as well.

Wish us luck.

Best of luck on the investigation.

Hope you catch some amazing stuff and will be anxiously awaiting to hear all about it.

After the stuff we got from the last one I can't wait. I hope we get at least something.

Thanks for the wishes of luck.

I like the camera in the hat idea to record what you see.

I have stationary wireless cameras but find they are real touchy to outside interference and distance from the recording unit. Interested to see how yours works.

I have a very large building to do over the next couple months but am leery of using the wireless.

I'm not hoping for much on the wireless camera. After all I bought it from Wal-Mart.

I agree that mounting a camera on a hat or helmut makes good sense. Can't wait to hear about it. Do you prefer to do investigations for residences as opposed to businesses or public places?

I just like to do investigations period. We have mostly done residential homes but we did investigate at the Myrtles Plantation two years ago and it was a great place. We have done cemeteries as well but they are too hard to do with all the contamination.
