I received an email from my sister. Apparently my aunt has a rent house that is currently empty but not for long. She has reported activity from a ghost named Wendell that used to live there. He has a tendency to throw objects across the room and open and close doors. Due to the time limit involved we scheduled an investigation this Saturday night. It works out well since I have a new camcorder I just got from a pawn shop for $100. I managed to get the majority of the team together for it. This will be an interesting investigation for our team. There are certain aspects to this case that I'm not sure on how to handle or proceed on.

I'll post whatever evidence we collect when we find it.

Sounds great. I love it when you can get the place empty and to yourselves. Have fun!

Looking forward to any findings you may have.

What were your general impressions of the place?

Initially I didn't think we would find anything. But I felt something touch my leg. I really think it was just a crease in my pant's leg falling down and not paranormal. Also we got a strange picture that is probably motion blur but we couldn't reproduce.

We'll see how the evidence stacks up.

I've never heard of a ghost named Wendell before.

There used to be a football player back in the 80s that had a first name of Wendell, I don't think he's a ghost yet.

Cool, looking forward to it.

Any history of a person named Wendell living there?

Or just a nickname for the ghost?

We haven't been able to find any history of the house regarding previous occupants. There are other stories that neighbors reported but we have been unable to verify any of them.

Some friends of ours just moved out of a house that they believe is haunted. Now it's for rent. Too bad we're not looking for a place to live…

Y'know – I just realized the above is random. Wrong thread, I guess.

During the investigation, I thought we had an interesting picture but it has since been debunked. I'm about 75% done reviewing evidence and the only thing we have thus far is a personal experience that I had. I do not believe the experience was paranormal so we're left with pretty much nada.

do you ever go back and investigate some more or do you limit it to just one time?

If the client wants us back, we will come back. We often try to explain to them that conducting multiple investigations is the best. This was a rent house that is being remodeled and it was the owners who contacted us. So the chances of us coming back is slim unless the renters start reporting something or they move out.

Now we do have one house that we are getting ready to investigate a third time. The first time was good, caught some unexplained sounds, the second was better. We got a Class A EVP and a few personal experiences.
