In less than 15 hours we leave for the Myrtles. This is a family investigation. Myself, my two sisters Shannon and Tonya and one of my nephews Trevor is coming. We will be staying Friday and Saturday night there before coming back on Sunday. If there is internet access I'll keep this thread updated. Sorry I'm just not into blogging.

Trevor and I will be staying in what is called the Slave's quarters. Shannon and Tonya are staying in the main house, one night in one room and the other in another room. The history of this place is murky and in constant flux depending on the owners from what I understand. I don't know how feasible it will be to research the history there but I've done quite a bit of reading on the place in the weeks leading up to tomorrow. At this time I don't know what equipment will be allowed to be set up. I am taking my Sony Handycam with night shot and two DARs. A digital camera is going with me as well as some of my sensor equipment. The rest of the group is bringing I have no idea what. I'm taking my other laptop that has a webcam with motion sensor program that will take still shots of our room when we are out of it. The rest will be winged as we go and I'll try to keep everyone updated to the minute as much as possible.

Wish us luck. It's an eight hour drive from Waco, Texas to the Myrtles.

Good Luck my friend! I can't wait to see the results of your investigation.

Our group arrived about 7 hours ago. We ate dinner at the little restuarant that is here. Food is pretty good. We then took the mystery tour of the house. It lasts about an hour and covers the downstairs portion of the building. Tour was good, we debunked a few things during the tour. I would like to come again and see if the tour is any different. We then walked around the outside and took pictures. I thought I had one picture that might have had something but I was able to debunk it as a potted plant that I hadn't noticed was there earlier. Outside EVP work is non-existance due to tree frogs singing their song.

We will take another tour in the morning and take more pictures and video of the place. I'm not going to go into too much detail since I'm saving that for the article in PUG.

Right as I'm typing this I'm outside on one of the porches, I can hear frequent footsteps but I think it's mostly other guests here.

Well last night nothing happened to our group. Other guests report a closet door opening or shoes being rearranged during the night. We have one more night to stay and we'll see what happens.

We left for most of today and visited Baton Rouge. We toured the USS Kidd on the Mississippi river. That was fun and interesting for us.

We are currently discussing what to do for dinner tonight.

I'm back at home now. I'm going to start reviewing the leftover evidence and start writing the article.

I'll keep you all in suspense. The article is in it's rough draft right now. I've included a few pictures also.
