OfflineHello again PUG!
I posted once before in another topic but I also wanted to introduce my group to you all. We call ourselves P.S.I. – Paranormal Survey and Investigation. We are a new group but our members all have experiences of their own, some of us have even done some investigating on our own. We just started a website, the address is – http://paranormalsurvey.com
If you want to check it out and let me know what you think that would be awesome. On the site is a picture that I took on my first investigation ever, at an apartment complex my aunt used to live at. This picture was taken by me with an old 35mm Minolta SLR using kodak infrared film. I have developed the negatives and hand printed the pictures myself at a college photo lab I had access to. I have posted this picture on a few other paranormal forums and I always get the same response, "too good to be real." All I have is my word and the word of a few other witnesses that there was no one in the shot when I took the picture. I own the only copy of the negatives and prints, and they are copyrighted to me now (at the advice of some fellow paranormal investigators). The direct link to the picture is here -- http://paranormalsurvey.com/in…..x.php?opti…804615840032273 – and the full story of that night is here -- http://paranormalsurvey.com/in…..x.php?opti…g&Itemid=65
But both can be found from the menu system on the website as well.
Thanks for your time, let me know what you think about the site and the pictures ^.^

OfflineWow Ryan. I don't know what to make of that photograph. Obviously you aren't looking for analysis, since you were there and know what happened. So – we're talking about the girl in jeans in the middle of the shot? What is off to the left running the left side?
Thanks for posting!

Okay – just looked at the orphanage pictures. The building was closed and locked up?

Any opinions you have of the photo would be great NW, I listen to the PUG podcast a lot and really value your thoughts.
So, to your first question, yes. The 'girl' in jeans and the person on the left are both what I believe to be entities. No one was in the shot when I took the photo. The being on the left appears to be facing the girl in the middle of the shot. I shoot in 3-4 shot bursts, if you look at the negatives slide 11 is an empty hallway, slide 12 shows the two visitors, and slide 13 is the empty hallway again. This shows me that these beings appeared and disappeared in less that 2 or so seconds (the time that it took me to wind the film back to take another shot).
As for the photo of my grandfather in front of the orphanage – He said that when they went to visit his old "home" that it was closed and locked. No one had been in the building for quite some time. The building was then condemned for a while (maybe two years?) I believe the property was recently purchased by a private party, but I am unsure of that part.
Thanks for the questions. Feedback / criticism / more questions – would be awesome. Like I said, I really respect the work that PUG is doing for the paranormal community as a whole, and I respect your opinions.

OfflineOkay well I have to tell you. I am not necessarily one to get creeped out by pictures. If you listen to the podcast and/or read my blog, you know I pretty much fall in the "I have no frickin' idea what that is but I'm going to look at every possibility" category.
The orphanage picture is kind of creepy. The kids in the windows are look like normal, alive kids.
As for the other picture, the dark figure on the left is intriguing. The girl – this would be a different girl than the one in the dress you saw then? Just as a side note – I think the composition of this photo is really neat – very artsy.
I would love it if you would be willing to post these photos and stories that go with them to our Gallery (link from the front page). You are welcome to link back to your site if you do. If you decide to do that, I can help you with the posting.

Yea, the girl I saw was much younger and in much different clothing. The girl in the photo was not seen at the time the picture was taken. As for the orphanage picture, it "creeps" a lot of people out. My grandmother didn't even want me to have it. All of my friends who have seen it don't like it because they say it is too eerie.
I'll think about posting the stories and pictures soon.

OfflineRyan, the photos look very interesting.
On the hallway photo, is there a chance of that being the case of a double exposure?
The orphanage photos … The one with your grandfather standing in front, I can clearly see the image of a little girl in the lefthand window. You said that the orphanage was locked and no one was there when the photo was taken. The image seems so clear that I don't think it is matrixing. On the other photo, I can see many children in each window, however, they are not clear enough to rule out reflection, matrixing, or even maybe an object sitting in the window.
Thanks for sharing those photos!

Thanks for the feedback MK.
On the hallway photo question about double exposure. I'm not positive, but isn't double exposure when one shot accidentally overlaps onto another shot? If that is what double exposure is, then I would have to rule that possibility out, I took three to four rolls of film that night and was very careful not to take one shot with any 'living' person in it. I got four rolls of nothing and then this one.
About the orphanage, reflection could be a cause, and I have thought about that too – most of the things seen in the windows are, however, on the second floor, so I am unsure about people like reflections being up there. Good thoughts, I had't really considered matrixing on the orphanage pictures, I will have to look into that some more.
Thanks

OK, so on the hallway photo, double exposure would not be the case if you did not have shots on the infrared film with people in them. hmmmm … I can't come up with another explanation on that one.
What appears to be a little girl standing in the window on the left seems to clear to me! That particular image definitely looks like a person to me and not matrixing.

OfflineHey guys, this is a little off subject, but I was wondering if you have any good places / websites to do historical research. I am trying to uncover what looks to be a pretty interesting story, and may lead to P.S.I.'s first investigation together. Any ideas on places to search would be awesome. Thanks
-Ryan
OfflineWhat kind of place?
If it's a cemetery there's the find a grave website. Does your county have an online tax base? For example, mine does so I can look up an address there and find the last few owners along with any major additions that were added on.
If not then your local library should be your next destination.

Thanks for the ideas – I'll go check that out. The location of the prospective investigation seems to be a neighborhood or several blocks that are all experiencing similar events. I found a mini documentary on youtube about this city that very closely followed the events that I have been told about, but in my research I was unable to verify any of the claims made in this youtube video.
