So I'm new to the paranormal investigating scene, I'm not clueless to it…I've done my research on how best to conduct one, have some equipment, and I think I even have some unique locations open due to my day job. I'm in the military so I have access to any us military installation in the world (and will soon be traveling abroad to Germany). My biggest problem is finding people to investigate with…the #1 rule of any investigation should be safety so going by myself is what's stopping me from going anywhere.

So…if there's anyone in Washington State near Fort Lewis (or now Joint Base Lewis McChord) who is interested in doing some investigating in some of the supposed hot spots, I can get access and need some fellow investigators. Only rules: must be 18+

Welcome!!! Its good to hear that you are approaching everything with a level head regarding safety and such. I agree with you. I do not investigate as much as I want to due to having no one to go with. I think its great that your in the military and you will for sure have access to some great sites that others cant get to. Iv been on bases myself and noticed things. Im in So Cal so not terribly close. But I know there are people interested in that area so look around. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

(1) eat less,

(2) don’t ask for money all the time,

(3) are easier to train,

(4) normally come when called,

(5) never ask to drive the car,

(6) don’t smoke or drink,

(7) don’t want to wear your clothes,

(8) don’t have to buy the latest fashions,

(9) don’t need a gazillion dollars for college and

(10) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children ..

Yea there are a few spots here on Ft Lewis that have reported activity during late night/early morning hours.

North Fort Lewis is reported to have disembodied voices, of platoons calling cadences, near the Korea War Barracks very early in the morning in areas where no platoon runs and at a time when unit PT isn't being conducted.

There's also a graveyard (I know cliche, and it can be debated back and forth) in the woods on main fort where many kids were laid to rest due to the TB outbreak, also a paupers graveyard is right near it too…many unmarked graves/graves without names.

Those sounds like fantastic investigation sites. Im sure if you go investigate you will have an interesting time.

I hope so, I hope to conduct a few investigations here at Ft. Lewis while I can, and then early next year I move to a base in Germany and I want to research it and see if there's any places there to investigate…kind of do a paranormal tour of different military bases

Welcome to the forum!

I think it's great that you are taking the next step in researching … investigation.

I know we have a lot of Washington-based investigators as members here. I bet Karen, who is in a group in Washington, can offer some thoughts on this, as well as a few of the other Washington investigators who post here!

This is as good a forum as any for your post. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
