We declined one case because of medicinal marijuana being on the premises, too. It sounded promising because the location did indeed have reports dating back before the current resident that we could verify... but none of us felt comfortable.

Another investigation we closed was one that seemed more from the person's apparent depression and medication, even though we were able to verify some interesting events. We usually try to do at least three investigations, but after the first one, it was obvious what the real culprit was. All we could do was tell the person we weren't able to validate her claims and give her our thoughts. /sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

With that information I wouldn't take the case.

We've had one that we wanted to pass on but we went ahead and did the investigation. We felt 100% that we were not going to find anything and we pretty much didn't find anything. It was a strange case to begin with. The circumstances were not to our liken and I had what I could say was a personal experience but went with it not being a paranormal experience. In this case we were standing in a hallway looking at the bathroom door when I felt a tug on my pant leg. At first we checked to see if I brushed it against something but that wasn't the case. I finally decided that it was just a crease in my pant leg that fell downward and that was what I felt.

The rest of the night nothing happened, we even went outside for 30 minutes to let the house settle and nothing happened while we were gone. This house had every opportunity to provide us something paranormal: the house was being remodeled, the house hadn't been occupied in several months, several other factors. No one felt anything or experienced anything. Evidence was reviewed carefully and we didn't get a thing. We were able to debunk many of the claims or were not able to verify any stories.

We've decided that we are going to help people as much as we can. We are not going to pass on a case unless there is something that we feel could prove hazardous to our health. For example: a bad neighborhood, a building that has been condemned or something along those lines. Other than that you never know what case could provide the proof that all of us are looking for.

Do you give them all information, including your impressions or feelings?

Do you omit certain things so they can determine on their own?
