He is still waiting on something else to occur and they are writing everything down. I haven't heard anything from the group I tried to contact. I'm just sitting back and waiting to hear from either of them. He told me they were going "back home" for two weeks for Christmas. I'll keep you updated.

I hear a group called TAPS id very reputable. They'll go to any location that has a gift shop. Does this location have a gift shop? Is that location a well known historical figure...that has an online gift shop? No? then scratch TAPS.

Yes, you will run into a lot like that. However, there are a lot of good ones too. Hang in there.

Don't forget the #1 rule when seriously trying to find a group to investigate something.

Interview them as you would anyone you would hire to do something and interview all those that are in your area. Don't go with the first one you find.

Also, never, never be afraid to get a second opinion. If any group balks at that then you may need to look elsewhere.
