Actual physical evidence from a haunting?

I am wondering if anyone out there has had a ghost hunt or investigation or even heard of one that produced hard physical evidence?

I have been working a case for several months now and there is a claim of hard physical evidence and I have recorded samples into evidence.

Now I am skeptical but only to a point at this time as I am aware of another claim of the same type evidence in another case and claimed by someone else.

Sorry, I don't want to reveal what kind of physical evidence I have as yet because it is still being tested and I don't want to give people any preconceived notions.

Anyone out there know of anything similar.

Without some details I couldn't tell you. Thus far the only real evidence that my team has collected has been audio. We have one picture but I don't trust it since it could have easily been a live person there instead. I also don't know of any group that has collected anything remotely physical proof.

Are you talking about something audio or video or something else entirely? If you can't say, that's fine.

You are right. I should have been more specific. I just don't want to say what I have just yet.

No, I don't mean audio, video or sound. More along the lines of something physical like Ummmmmm…. This is tough. Say, someone was doing an investigation and found something that should not be there. Like an artifact or like an old coin, piece of jewelry, clothing, . Something that shouldn't exist at the scene and that didn't belong to the client nor should physically be where it was etc. I know that is still kind of vague. If I can't get my point across soon I will have to just come out and say what I have. LOL

.. If we had actual "physical hard evidence" then nothing would intangible. So I find your question to be a chicken/egg scenario.

Very interesting, Kim. I would assume that you secured the site of the location so that someone couldn't come in and leave something behind. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on what it is you have.

Yes, along similar lines but not involving a poltergeist.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

An apport is supposed to be the paranormal transference of an article from one place to another, or an appearance of an article from an unknown source.[1] They are supposed to be associated with poltergeist activity, and on rare occasions are said to be witnessed landing on the floor, in a person's lap or dropping from the ceiling. Flowers are a well known form of apport at spiritualistic séances, but tar and mud have also been reported.[2]

Conversely, an asport is the transference of a small object from a known location to an unknown location via paranormal means.[3]

As with all reported paranormal phenomena, the existence of apports is controversial, with critics such as Robert Todd Carroll saying that they are the result of magic tricks.[4]

So if I read this right then it's just physical manipulation of an object when it's moved by an unseen force. I have to say it's interesting and am looking forward to the evidence.

For those who are not familiar with the term, basically an Apport is supposed to be the paranormal transference of an article from one place to another, or an appearance of an article from an unknown source. Not necessarily eye witnessed.

For a visual think of the scene in Poltergeist where the watches etc, fell out of nowhere. It is usually a phenomenon associated with poltergeist activity, thus the movie using it. Such is not the case with mine and my theory although similar goes along a possible scientific phenomenon .

Don't get all your hopes up for an earth shattering phenomenon but I find it interesting.

I don't want non contributing members to feel totally left out so I will share a little more.

You can go here: Ghost Talkers and listen to Season 1; Episode one. A similar story is recorded at about 17:05 of the interview.

We have had several instances of items moving by an unseen force at the hotel. I reported the time Courtney watched her purse move from one location to another. I also reported watching our main key coder being pushed across the top of a file cabinet and then falling to the floor. It was sitting smack in the middle of the top of the file cabinet when it happened. I'd have to go back through the archives of the magazine to find these reports, but they are there.

I also have documented an occurrence of an item being moved that will show up in the magazine in the next month or so that I recently witnessed.

I can't wait to hear your findings, Kim.

Your experiences sound very interesting. Can't wait unil March. My son already booked the rooms for the whole group. Maybe we can do a paranormal exam of the area you are talking about when we are there?

I'm always there on my 16-hour shift on Saturday nights. We'll talk more when the date comes closer. I'm sure something can be arranged. However, I'm the only person authorized to do this, so don't bother approaching the Friday night person.

You might want to think about setting up a DVR in our breakfast room. There is a couple who stays with us at least once a month. The last few times they stayed, I let them set up their DVR there after midnight. I shut off the air conditioning (when I still needed it) and did not walk around in there so no dust could be proven to be a factor. I was the only person there. You would not believe what I saw and watched most of the night on their monitor. The "orbs" were doing 90 degree turns, they were pulsating, they were fast, they were slow and they came right at the camera when I called them. Of course, there was one night that only a few showed up. But, if you have an extra DVR, bring it.

Not to worry. I will only deal with you directly. Do you know where the Phenomenology 102 conference people will be doing their investigations? I will bring some extra equipment to set up in where you said. I'll keep in touch by email as we get closer to March.

Yes, I know when Phenomenology102 will be investigating the hotel. I set it up. It isn't when you will be staying with us. They are doing it over a 4-night period and they have all the suites booked.

I believe you are staying in the Inn and Buford Suites? Both are active – especially the Buford. There is a Confederate soldier who has been seen by many guests on the staircase there. He has also been heard by many guests walking up and down the stairs in the middle of the night. The Inn is an original Civil War building. The original owner of the hotel had his mom living in the Inn and she died in the first floor bedroom. There is a child who has been seen playing in the living room of the Inn. In addition, there was a cemetery that used to sit alongside the Inn.

There is also a rumor that one of the Confederate generals had a nervous breakdown on Day One and he was hidden in the basement of the Inn away from the men and until they could get him under control. I have an idea who that might have been.
