Thanks. I want to go buy a real good webcam sometime and see it makes a big difference. That was just a really old and cheap one that I could modify to remove the IR filter. That's why the light is off.

I found the problem. I was posting just the local IP address to broadcast it. I had to go in and find the www address so anyone outside of my IP could view it. I really like this potential since I can leave my old laptop somewhere and broadcast, just as long as I can get wi-fi at that location.

There's a quality adjuster on there and I changed it to the top level and it did seem to make a big difference. I bet it makes the picture run slower though.

It's up again for the day. It should be up to about 6:30pm Central time. Mostly it's watching my living floor where the boys play.

I had to turn it off a bit ago. My wife doesn't like it running when she is home so I respect her wishes. I'll have it running again in the morning.

I've checked out computers and it runs fine there so I don't know what the problem is. I'll take another look in the morning and see if it's something on my end.
