http://www.fujifilm.com/produc….._real3dw1/

course I want to filter it and use it for infrared, but….that goes without saying.

The possibilities (gets dreamy far off stare)

and the possibilities for new types of false positives (back to reality)

Still, I gotta have one.

Andy

edit: doesn't look like it has hit retail yet, but will keep my eyes open

umm, I hope this pricing is due to demand of a product not yet released in the states and not an indicator of actual us prices…

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA……dll?ViewI…2#ht_6013wt_770

way too much money for a gimmick, no matter how cool

It's cool – but do you need a viewer to go with it?

I couldn't find pricing.

I think the "3d" viewer is just an aliased display pic frame, but I dunno. It hasn't been released in the states yet, but japanese imports on ebay are ranging from 600 -1600usd. I hope that is because it is a rare import at this time. I would pay up to 300 for it, but not anything more, so I hope us pricing is reasonable.

From what I can tell, the view finder on the camera is 3d capable so that you can make parallax adjustments before saving. I know that there has to be some sort of software alternative as well because they have some cool 3d multi-aspect shots in their gallery.

looks pretty cool, but if it is priced out of the ballpark, I'm already over it..

Well – as with any new technology, pricing inevitably comes down. You won't necessarily be "out" for long.
