The ZOOM Q3 is, of course, a voice recorder and has a video camera built in. It records VGA 640x480 (Mpeg4) video while simultaneously recording audio. Hopefully the audio is as good as the other Zoom voice recorders. One site says, "The Q3 uses the same microphone capsules as our industry-leading H4n Handy Recorder..." Its audio is limited with "44.1/48kHz 16/24-bit Linear PCM WAV or MP3 up to 320kbps" formats. And as with other Zoom products the battery life is an issue, as this one only lasts 2 hours. I wasn't able to find if there is a limitation of the file size like with the H2.

Although it could offer some features of their other recorders, this pricey little toy at $250, is perfect for sitting down and leaving while making sure no one tampers with your evidence.
