During my recent trip to the QM there were several sessions conducted in the 1st class swimming pool area with an "inductive probe". Andy Coppock and Adam Blai were having what I believe to be a fair amound of success with this device, which basically produced a humming when exposed to emf. I am familiar with using inductive coils and amplifiers, but never had much success with them, so I asked around. No one really had a clear answer to what they were using for the session. I got a good look at it, and rather than being a homebuilt item, it looked like a commercially produced item. After running every derivation of induction and probe searches, I found the exact unit they were using.

I am almost positive that this is the same unit that was used. The one that they were using on the QM looked like it was painted black or gray, but the housing is a match. I never thought of using a tool like this in that fashion, but after seeing it in action the other night, I am sold.

If you want to hear the session from the swimming pool area with the inductive probe, here are a couple vids.

Heyyy….we have a video gallery….sayin'

Hmm…Jim says we have one of those amplifier probe jobbies. I guess it will be going along with us next time.

It's (literally) part of the junk in my trunk. I use it for tracing signal tone.

I fart, therefore I art.

These will pick up all kinds of stuff so be sure to use in a rf free or reduced environment.

I heard the buzzing etc, and it brings to mind one question.

Using one of these tell you what?

What I mean is. What conclusions can you draw from the use of this device? What does it tell you?

As far as I can tell, it buzzes. It measures magnetic susceptibility. So wouldn't it essentially be an EMF detector that buzzes? I'd guess that the theory in people using it is that a ghost could manipulate magnetic waves in order to form words. I've seen other devices with a similar theory – like Digital Dowsing's talker box converts EMF into allophones. Like everything else, I suppose it is just "trying stuff" to see what works.

I have been corresponding with Andy Coppock and am sending mine to him for modification. He said that while that was the correct model, it still has some operational mods that need to be done to get the performance of his. You are correct, it is essentially an EMF "Buzzstick". Very rudimentary emf meter. While you cannot get tonal communication, you can get tempo matching communication. Lacking the ability to annunciate, it can match the cadence of certain speech patterns. Count to five, etc… sing mary had a little lamb, twinkle twinkle little star, happy birthday, etc…. and since you can hear the fieldstrenghth, you can hear the emphasis on certain "syllables".

It is by no means a perfect means of communication, but unlike standard forms of ITC, this will only communicate with spirits local to the investigation (actual local field manipulation is required). I am excited to get mine back from Andy…I will certainly post any interesting findings that I get.

thanks

Andy

Not sure why you can't get speech through it, if it is induced as a current flow somewhere. Mine came with a warble tone generator that you attach to the wire you want to trace, but I've used it to trace modem and other DTMF tones through telephone wiring plenty of times.

I guess modulation of the field might be a bit much for certain entities? I know with the inductive amplifier I can hear radio just fine when I hold it near an inductive pickup coil plugged into a radio headphone jack. I never thought of that though, much like evp, they should be able to modulate the field for a speech pattern, if that is indeed what is happening. I know the device is capable of it, so you it's a good point, why not voice?

Thanks to a fellow researcher in New Zealand, KiwiJeff, we now have modifications to increase the gain (like Coppock's probe) for both the 200b and 200ep…

200ep schematics:

200b instructions:

Thanks again to KiwiJeff for his work in making these mods possible and freely sharing them so that we all could experiment with these devices…

regards,

Andy
