For some reason I'm betting it has a word recognizer in it and it hears the words and spits out something in relation to it.

I don't think so Ryan, as I have the Ipod touch, not the Iphone, the Ipod does not have a microphone on it....

It also said "James", the name of my short story....but it also belted out Robert and Smith.....

oh...the last 15 seconds now...the words repeat, pull, and finish came through....now - beat.

So Ryan, please put these words together for me and tell me what this app is trying to tell me (saved - just came through) This thing is really belting out the words....

I guess for 99 cents you can't go wrong with it....but does it work is the question.

My sister, who is on the group as a researcher, was playing around with it at her house. Her house is the main one that we have had great success at. We captured a class A EVP there not long ago. Anyway, she and a friend or two were playing around Saturday night and were getting some interesting readings with this app. Two of the questions they asked were answered quickly. First they asked what was your favorite color and they got an answer of gray. Another question they asked was did you have any hobbies and the response was music. Other stuff she mentioned was a radar that picked up odd readings, an EMF detector app that they were using on another phone would go off when in those areas.

I didn't read what the app really used as a sensor but it was still interesting. I don't have a Iphone or Ipod to try this out for myself but it has me thinking about an Ipod at least.

Anyone else try it out or heard of it?

I know that Bill Murphy reviewed this app on the Tech Talk portion of Darkness Radio about a month back. He concluded it was interesting but needed more study. The app uses (from what I understand) the capacitive touch screen to detect static field fluctuations and the accelerometer.
