Honestly, I don't know how I would feel about it. I mean on one hand I could buy it, wipe out that energy and make it my own, on the other hand, it might feel a bit disturbing knowing a young male had his head bashed in there.

When I was little, I lived in a house where there was quite an angry spirit around. I also remember a lot of objects still in the basement that did not belong to anyone in my family. Later in life I found out that an elderly lady had died there, but she wasn't found right away, she had been well into decomposing by the time she was found. I guess that explained to me why, when my grandfather first got the home (which he got dirt cheap) we could not live there right away, and the whole entire down stairs flooring had to be ripped out and redone in the Kitchen. As for the tiems in the basement, I chalk that up to laziness, and others not feeling like removing it all.

Me being a criminal investigator have seen so many deaths in all kinds of natural and unnatural manner and after having night terrors occasionally

And after seeing a body and the last expression of the lifeless individual there is no way I could live in a house where a murder occurred.

I already live in a house where two natural deaths occurred, and it doesn't bother me.

Frankly, a house like Dahmer's would fascinate me. The story alone would be enough to garner my interest, and if the price was right, I'd snap it up.

Hmmm, hell no to the house where a murder occurred. Maybe to a house where a natural death occurred but not if it was some sort of institution where lots of folks died. BTW, I never thought about JD being killed by the same kind of murder weapon that took the life of his first victim, creeeeeeeeeeepy.

Someone purchased Jeffrey Dahmer's childhood home, where he committed his first murder with a dumb bell. Ironically, he was murdered in prison with a piece of the workout equipment. What goes around comes around, right?

My question is this: how would you feel about buying a home with this kind of history? Would it give you pause or would it not bother you at all?

Personally, I wouldn't mind a natural death, but I wouldn't buy a house where there was a murder. That's just me, though.

What's your view?
