When I was in college we'd gone into Times Square a few times and it was a cess pool. That was during the Koch>Dinkins era, I think. But it's changed dramatically to be a little more tourist friendly or so it seems. It was all pimps, hookers, drug dealers, porn theaters etc….or is it still like that?

Well, I didn't have to work under him but as a person who had to come into the city for business (after college) it was nice that they finally got the Javitz center straightened out because that was ridiculous. Yeah well I won't go into my feelings about him here since its not the place. But since he did fix up the Javits Center is good cause the NY Comic con is appraoching again and it will be there…and with a 4 day pass in hand…(will actually attend 2 days) time to see all the fan boys and girls…

Concerning the Javitz (Javits?) Center. There was so much stupidity,corruption and theft (on so many levels specifically stemming from the Unions) going on over there that as a vendor attempting to show your wares it became quite a costly venture.
