Wow…Monk posts that Tom and Kate are spliting up and then MK posts about End of Era inscriptions in Guatemala. Did the Guatemalans predict Tom and Kate were spliting up as the end of an era prediction? Cause that would really have been a realy great prediction. They seemed so right for each other. Well it's pretty well known that they are HUGE in Tampa, Fl. When I used to go to Dead concerts there were these people that would walk up and hand you these "tribal" smile stickers for free and try to get you to listen to some spiel or another, the sticker had a phone number on the back. Friends who used to go to shows alot more then I told me to watch out for those folks, that they were in a cult and it was thought they were Scientologists.

I'd read a report that she and or her parents have hired a private security force of their own to keep them at bay. GOOD private security is expensive and frankly her career hasn't been happening for quite awhile (not sure that it ever was) so it'll be interesting to see how long she can keep it up. It'll be interesting to see what happens next.

She was and then was replaced w/Maggie Gylenhaal (or however it's spelled) for the second one. She really hasn't been in anything of note…since leaving Dawson's Creek. She's not really that great of an actress IMHO, a little too wooden for my liking. I was just browsing her IMDB.com page and caught myself before dozing off. I'm just not hearing anyone clamoring for Katie Holmes movies. Her biggest accomplishment has been actually having a child w/Tom Cruise.

If she's "only" getting $15 million be prepared for a Katie Holmes bombardment as she takes everything and anything to cover herself financially.

I was thinking about this whole situation and the only one I feel sorry for is the kid. At first glamce I felt sorry for her getting hounded by the alledged scientology goons but then I thought, "Hey, she knew what she was gettign into with him." In my opinion she married him for fame and fortune and now that it isn't working out she's going the route of the others. Am I being to harsh on the girl for thining she was just in it for t he fame?

It's hard to say. Did she marry him for the money, fame & celebrity? Who knows, I'm not sure how much of a "power couple" they were considering the fact that her career had stalled so dramatically. Maybe she thought she could change him? There's a 15 year age difference and he's crazier then a outhouse loon to take into account as well. Just way too many negative factors involved here, money can't smooth out EVERY bump in the road. I, too, feel bad for Suri, this poor kid will NEVER have a normal life with that whackadoo as a father.

Colorado has the death penalty doesn't it? They should harvest him for anything important needed to save the people he injured…personal opinion. A quick death he doesn't deserve.

I didn't think I did, but I missed the opening ceremony heard it was….pedestrian at best but heard the bit with the Queen & Daniel Craig (as 007) was funny. I caught a bit of women's hoops vs. Croatia…man some of those Croatian women were pretty particularly #s9 & 10. Didn't catch their names though. I was watching a bit of the night time coverage and are you kidding me? Ryan Seacrest at the olympics too….him and BACK STORY Bob Costas? All we needed was Joe Buck & Tim McCarver and I would've killed myself. Hey Seacrest, it's okay to leave some money on the table for others you PIG! Honestly…Is there NO ONE ELSE out there beside him ? Why not Nick Cannon? lol

I agree, I can't stand all the fake patriotism and back story nonsense. Not to mention NBC has, as usual, completely botched the coverage. Don't get me started on the olympics and half of this stuff shouldn't even be considered sports. I'm more of a winter games person myself.
