What would be the fun in doing that?

I also love Al Jarreau's version. You can listen to Al's version by going here: http://www.rhapsody.com/playli…..central/pl…Id=ply.23210369

and clicking the play button for track 15. The entire song will load up and play. Love it!

Al Jarreau, is wonderful. Sitting on the dock on the bay, great song, one of my favorites.

Looking at my old albums the other day, played some Al and Ottis.

Pulled out some Marvin Gaye, boy we lost some good ones way too young.

Aaron Neville, does a great version of this song also.

U2 covers Sitting sometimes in concert, interesting take Bono does.

LA Times did a report about if TMZ had got it wrong that MJ hadn't died what they would have done, some think that LAT is mad that tmz beat them to the story, but really some Jackson family members were not notified that he was taken to the hospital. I get so tired of hearing about the things celebrities do in their personal lives, I don't care. Mainstream media has become a joke, one huge unfunny joke. The only reason i watch the news in the am is so I know the weather for my outfit. I stopped buying newspapers, still buy magazines but those are mostly car magazines (for hubby) or cosmo.

Hi Duckie!

Agreed! The Britney, thing just made me nuts. I can't take even hearing her name now.

The media, has turned into monsters, it's always the bad. The media thrives off of celebrity drama.

Why does the media THINK, we want that. I guess, it says something about our society.

I stopped with newspapers and very selective which news programs I watch. Cut out all Mag subsriptions expect for one.

Rolling Stone Mag, have about 30 years of issues. The political coverage of the 70's by Hunter Thompson was enigmatic.

When I bought my first issue, it was like a right of passage. The most bizarre coverage was the Patty Hurst abduction.

I also enjoyed reading Cameron Crowe's articles. There are still a few regular features I enjoy reading over the years.

The record reviews are still inflential.

But, the 90's brought great change to Rolling Stone with a format of TV/Film actors and Pop music. Not my bag at all!

So, I'm sitting here looking at the new issue, with The Jonas Brothers on it. UGGG!

Last issue, was the runner up to American idol on the cover. What!

I remember when it was a something special to be on the cover, now…..

I find less to read in each issue, this was a magazine I loved in it's day!

Hi Symp.

It always amazes me how low media will stoop for a story. Britney for that matter is a whole other story, if I hear one more thing about her I will scream. The thing that got me was when children services went and checked on her kids in a heartbeat but I had a crazy neighbor who I called cps on and they did nothing.

It makes me think, what if Walt Disney were still alive.

The original Mouseketeers walked a fine line, to keep that sqeeky clean Disney image.

The Britney batch of Mouseketeers, had their share of drama.

Walt must be rolling in his grave!

Shame we'll never hear them all together again. Flaco on the squeeze box

, Freddy on guitar they could make a party in Corpus last all night long.
