I have never heard of this story and events.

It's frightening how we assume that staying the straight and narrow and minding our own business should be enough to ensure a happy life in this 'land of the free,' only (now) to become aware that events such as these can snatch our freedoms right from us, by agencies put in place to protect and preserve those freedoms.

I've been mindful of recent cases in my area where people are being convicted on what would seem to be the flimsiest evidence.

It's either a vendetta against those who don't fit society's perfect mold or convictions for convenience sake because LE doesn't have a clue or have botched it and need a patsy to feign competence.

i know, monk. and i've posted this case elsewhere over the years and was immediately ostracized for 'being against law and order and supporting DEVIL WORSHIPPERS.' what we as a nation seem to have forgotten is that it is much easier to give rights up in the name of safety or whatever than it is to get them back again from the powers we elevate to be above said rights. and what happens to others can easily happen to us if we are in the wrong place at the wrong time or if someone just doesn't agree with our perspective on things.

common sense doesn't seem to have a place in this case. it is a ragged scar on the face of justice.

Interesting that you should bring this up. In our most recent podcast with psychic medium Jackie Barrett, she talks about this case, and in particular Damien Echols. Jackie has worked with the police and FBI on a number of cases. We had to cut out much of our discussion with Jackie on this case to honor her off the air request, but she had some interesting thoughts and connections to the case.

I think we'll see more developments on this tragic case in the near future.

I agree Annie. This is the perfect example of preconceived notions ending up in convictions of innocent people. My opinion of course. I feel the real party(ies) to blame have not yet been brought to justice.

These kids were Wiccans not devil worshipers, if I remember correctly. They wore black, listened to heavy metal, and were just plain "different."

A very sad case for the victims and the wrongly accused.

i don't know how many (or if any) of you are familiar with this case, but if i had the means i'd investigate the area, not that it would help these young men. i've studied this case for years and truly feel they've been railroaded to death row and life in prison +40 yrs.

i would like to see if there is anything paranormal from the heinous crime that was committed on 3 little boys. i don't mean to sound ghoulish. i really believe in the innocence of these guys who were only teens themselves when arrested and sentenced and if psychics etc can be used by law enforcement to help locate missing people, why not there.
