Hey everyone…sorry I haven't been around, but my Mom has been in the hospital since January 5th. She had a perforated small intestine and had to undergo emergency surgery and is having a tough time…..luckily she came of the ventilator yesterday, and is on an oxygen mask that forces air into her lungs. She's a pretty tough cookie, but she is also going to 90 in February.

If you could just keep her in your thoughts and prayers, I would greatly appreciate it. Every little bit helps.

I miss you all and will be around when I can.

And a big "Thanks" to everyone.

Mom is finally on the mend…..she was taken out of ICU yesterday and put in a room, in the elderly unit the hospital has.

As soon as she is able to eat, she will be transferred to a rehab center. It will be a very long recovery but there is a good chance that she will make a full recovery. My family and I are going to start taking turns visiting her….so we aren't so worn out.
