I think Morey Amsterdam did a Christmas Album once.

Didn't Billy Crystal have that routine about that's not how you make a Morey Amsterdam?

Is it just me or does Rooney Mara in "The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo" look a lot like Peter Weller from Robocop?

I think it's the eyebrows, or lack thereof.

I saw it, loved it! I didn't read the books and had no prior knowledge so I was amazed. Very graphic, so go prepared for that. Once you folks see it we can discuss over in the movies section.

I am not sure. We had this happen to us before. We took it to our bank, and had them investigate it. At the time, we were living in another state. It seems to happen when my Father in law sends my hubby a check which he did recently for my hubby's birthday. He used fedex to send it both times.

The credit union on this bogus check was the Glendale Schools Credit union. Odd thing is that I was raised in the Glendale school district. I don't think that had anything to do with it, but still.

I spent a good part of an hour calling the credit union and fed ex to report this check.

I wonder how many poor suckers out there actually cash it and then gets hit with all of the overdraft penalties when the check ultimately bounces. /unsure.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Or it could be that most or some people will write their account numbers on the back of the check along with their signature and then now these creeps have a signature and the account numbers to make further withdrawls. Some people don't realize that free money from unknown people isn't for real.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

He had my hubby's phone number and started to text him. He said his company was working with Walmart as a secret shoppers. My guess is that my hubby probably fell for one of those mystery shopper spam ads you get in your email. OMG that man is like the turnip that perpetually falls off the truck.

Anyway, "David" kept texting him. He almost put the check into the bank, but his wife (that would be me) sat him down in front of the computer and proceded to show him why the check was fake. Oy!!! High IQ and book smarts, but Lord help me he's so naive. /unsure.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Then I took his phone and texted this guy asking him why a person would send an overnight pkg from N.Cal with a return address of NY, from a company with a bogus address that contained a chk from a school credit union in S Cal? It took him over 24 hrs to come with the lamest excuse with mispelled words. /dry.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> Needless to say that was the last time I heard from this guy. /rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

There is a scam, people are using the name of an actual company, Integrity Consultants. The people mail checks, i heard this a few weeks ago.

Sorry this happened, I'd report, not everybody is as savy as you Lady. Someone is next inline.

I'm lauging! My husband told me Bear Grylls hangs out in the woods all the time and never usues hotels during filming. I just smacked him in the head and kept walking. lol

My hubby is book smart, common sense stupid. I tell him, he is in a mental wheel chair. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />
