OfflineYa know, I really don't complain much. I am usually a pretty happy person, but today I have a major pity party going on for me and my mom. I have been at my mom's house the last couple of nights so I haven't been here.
Mom is 81 years old and doesn't remember her own name. She mostly remembers my name and my husband's name because we lived with her for three years after we got married. Her ongoing request is to "go home". To note she is living in the same house they bought over 46 years ago. She hasn't been diagnosed with alzheimer's because she won't go to the doctor. We're getting ready to have to take her against her will. My mother is and has always been a very proud woman with a strong sense of dignity and it really SUCKS to watch her dissappear a little at a time. So this isn't really a FML post: It is a FMML post.

LIFE SUCKS!
Oh no … I'm sorry T. It must be a really hard thing to go through.

Well, the kitties eyes are much better, but still taking care of one.
So , I've been taking care of kitties, Cats, and Dog, not to mention The Big Wolf and myself. I've been seeing after my sister's cat while she's on vacation. Fellini has separation anxiety when left alone so I don't just get to feed her: you have to molly coddle her a bit. Then I go to my mom's house and do her laundry, cook, clean, clean her its a constant blast of energy or which mine is dwindling. I have to travel about Blount County quite a bit in one day to put out flames.
And then I go to work! My friends, I will probably cave in and say FML before it is all over! As much as I hate to feel sorry for myself.
And MK, GL and NW thank you for the sentiment! It is appreciated!

OfflineBlount County Tennessee is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It has been
ten years since I was there but I will make it back for the Highlanders annual this
year in October. I use to work over in Oakridge a very long time ago and I still
wish to this day that I had never left. Well sometimes I wish that mostly during
hurricane season.

You go to the Highlanders Fall Gathering? My husband was the bass player with the Dixie Werewolves. They played that party for years! Maybe we have met! Small World!

OfflineYes I do! I have also heard the "Dixie Werewolves".
Work has prevented me for years from going but this
year I have made up my mind. You are right it is a
very small world.

That is great! I'm sure we will be there. The Werewolves have split up, but we are still friends with the club. I went to High School with the Pres. Hoot! If you'll remind me, I'll bring a yearbook! Nice talking with you PD.

OfflineNice to meet you PD,
Yes I ride and they call me Big Jon. I will see you and the Big Wolf
there in October. If you run into Hoot in the next few days please tell
him Big Jon is coming. He'll freak for sure! I knew this was going to be a
great year……and no I'm still not psychic! I am still however the record
holder for the longest keg toss at the Gathering.

I'm sorry to hear about this and I've been thinking about you.

OfflineI was going to suggest Melatonin as well.
I also have a very difficult time sleeping with my insane work schedule. I was becoming far too dependent on sleeping pills and switched to Melatonin and a glass of milk. It works wonderfully for me.

Melissa is supposed to work well – no, really, it's called Melissa (also know as lemon balm).
