Here's a quick run down of Super Bowl Commercials that stuck out …

Doritos Teasing the Pug

Doritos cheese fetish guy in the office

Doritos back from the dead

Audi country club prison break

Pepsi Max Diet (yes the controversial one…I dunno, thought it was funny)

Pepsi Max Inner thoughts (guy and woman on date, she's having all the interdialogues about the guy and all he's thinking about is sex)

Chevy Camaro Slacker commercial

Chevy truck …..I didn't know we had a volcano in town…

Bud Light Product placement in movies

Bud Light New Kitchen…hey the landscapers are here

Bud Light Dog Sitter

Faith Hill…teleflora (help me Faith, nice rack)

Lumberjack snickers w/Roseanne and Richard Lewis

VW Young Darth

VW Black Beetle

Etrade Baby w/his Tailor

Carcom-Go first

Carcom-reviews are in

Coke Border PATROL

Bridgestone-Beaver got your back

I thought both Eminem ones were DUMB (Chrysler and Brisk Tea….ok we get it…you're angry).

I'm sure there's some I forgot…what were your faves?

So far Iv only seen the Pug Dorritos one. But that was funny.

(2) don’t ask for money all the time,

(3) are easier to train,

(4) normally come when called,

(5) never ask to drive the car,

(6) don’t smoke or drink,

(7) don’t want to wear your clothes,

(8) don’t have to buy the latest fashions,

(9) don’t need a gazillion dollars for college and

(10) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children ..

Ozzy, "What's a Bieber?"

I found that commercial to be quite sad actually, I know Ozzy has a great sense of humor, but honestly, how 'bout this kid earning his stripes before getting a gig w/a true heavy weight of Rock.

I just remembered the House variation of the Mean Joe Green commercial and hitting the kid w/the cane…pretty funny…."gee thought he had that one"…

True that….he had a couple of cameos on Saturday Night Live this past weekend that were funny, but he bores me quickly.

I thought the one with the cowboy getting his Bud Light, then singing Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" was pretty funny…

And I liked the Snickers commercial with Roseanne Barr….she should be whacked with a log….. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

hard to disagree w/that log smacking! Wasn't the Elton John cowboy the Nihlist from Big Lebowski? He also was in Chocolat and played the devil in Constantine, he's in a ton of stuff. Usually plays an Eastern European gangster type.

My favorite was the Mean Joe Green takeoff for House. It was quite well done.

I'm not, his last few movies haven't been all that great…gotta make that moolah. Someone once asked Sir Laurence Olivier about some of his film choices in latter life that were not so good and he said the point to being a working actor is to work. You accept roles that you are offered and do the very best you can…in his defense, the films in question were not that good but his performances were always stellar and the highlight (of course).

And I believe I heard that he told Dustin Hoffman once to just read the script and act and not get all this method crap….lol…my paraphrase not his actual words.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

The above are my opinions.

A lot of stars are in commercials lately. The recession must be hitting Hollywood now (hey maybe then something will be done about it).

Yeah, basically Dustin Hoffman told him he hadn't slept in three days to help him "get into character"….Olivier allegedly told him "try acting".

This is a big trend among the celebrities to make extra money they appear in ads overseas w/the stipulation that the adverts never appear in the states (ala Lost in Translation). They can make crazy amounts of money for a few days of work. I think I read somewhere where Brad Pitt, George Clooney and few other Hollywood A listers did watch ads in Japan.

I thought the Bridgestone Beaver commercial was superb. I loved it's gesturing at the end after saving the motorist – very funny.

The first Doritos ad with the Pug was hilarious too, (albeit predictable).

My favorite was the Pepsi Max Diet ad though. That made me laugh loudly for quite a while, I wasn't expecting that!

The VW Young Darth was cute, and a special mention needs to be made to the Go Daddy Jillian Michaels / Joan Rivers commercials!
