Tomorrow night I have Bears versus Packers. This might be a season-defining game. In Chicago we have a talented quarterback, but a suspect defensive secondary. That the similarly talented Green Bay quarterback may choose to test that secondary could lead to a very morose Monday for moi.

In a previous life, I travelled to a few cities each year to do trade shows and twice a year I wound up in Chicago in the Late Summer early Fall. One of my fave haunts though a bit of a tourist trap was Harry Carays (the one across the street from the Redfish) and I'll tell ya as a sports/football fan it was awesome to see a Packers/Bears game at such a locale. EVERY time a packer was shown on the screen, the booing was thunderous and wadded up cocktail napkins aflying! Great atmosphere for one of the oldest rivalries in the NFL. Food and drink not so shabby either. I highly recommend the Redfish as well, it's a Cajun joint.
If the tragic happens and you are in the Chicagoland area, I would recommend a Goose Neck Island Oatmeal Lager (I think it was a lager) or two! And then I will be jealous of you! LOL…Good Luck to you and your team this weekend, I picked them in the office football pool
