Seriously, why the rioting? Certainly there are much more fun ways to celebrate.

Congrats in order to both Pittsburgh Penguins and LA Laker fans for their victories. But I would like to take this moment to express, yet again, my displeasure at these knuckleheaded fans who haven't got the vaguest idea how to conduct themselves w/a modicum of class and decorum (hopefully someone will be able to translate this for these troglodytes). It makes your team, city and other sportsfans look bad when you act like lawless hooligans. At the risk of sounding like a complete fascist, I think the cops SHOULD be allowed to administer a beat down on some of these idiots. YEA!!!!! my team won a championship now i'm going to run rough shod all over town, looting, vandalizing and endangering other citizens w/my irresponsible behavior. As a Philly sports fan, our championships are far and few between and even we weren't completely immune to this thuggish behavior, but it was no where near what happened in LA. By contrast, I don't recall hearing anything like this happening in Pittsburgh for either of the titles they won this year. Or Boston. Or NY. Just saying! Sort of ruins the moment for all the level headed folks out there, thanks guys!!!.

It seems like in certain parts of the world – and I am not going to say where – they are just looking for an excuse to riot. I know I am – but I'd have to clean it all up if I started a riot here, and that just sounds like work. /rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Yeah – but it was the NoWhammies riot of '02 that really raised the roof. We're still facing repercussions from that one. That's how I know about the cleaning. Alcohol may or may not have been a factor.

Yes but wasn't the mayhem centralized around a shoe store selling brand names going out of business having an everything must go sale? I heard NW reverting to her wrestling past busted out a couple atomic knee drops, a few pile drivers and the ever infamous figure four leg lock to get the last of those Prada & Gucci shoes.

She has my gorilla-looking butt to clear space for her now, but it can get pretty viscious in there! Some of those girls will gouge your eyes out for a pair of Manolo Blahniks, even if they're a half-size too small…

Even Cali is having weird weather, ok, I work near LAX and the forecast is suppose to be in the 80's but it is overcast and cool here. I enjoy it cause I hate hot weather, I dread summer every year, love winter.

Wimbledon is getting good!

The last time I watched tennis was Saturday 7/8/89. The reason I remember the date so well was because I had taken some incredibly strong dbl dipped Berkeley zebra stripe LSD at the Grateful Dead concert the day before at old JFK stadium in Philly the day before and hadn't gone to sleep yet. I was watching Pete Sampras if i'm not mistaken and was just floored at how hard/fast his serve was consistantly. Oh yeah, the concert was really great too, considered one of the best of the summer tour, Bruce Hornsby & the range opened for them. Last event ever at JFK stadium.
