OfflineAnybody got any big plans for the Superbowl?
I've already got a case and a half of Dos Equis and Coors light on ice. I'm going to make some ginormous subs/hoagies that shake out like this….
I take a loaf of soft french bread, cut in half.
I put italian dressing on the top and bottom piece along with oregano, then I layer
bacon, kosher pickle slices, salami, provolone cheese (sometimes white american if it's on sale)tomato slices, ham, red onion slices, turkey, avocado, swiss cheese, mild pepper rings, leafy green lettuce! It's massive but it will last all day.
I've got some Rotel diced tomatos and chiles that I may add to some nacho cheese campbell soup as a dip prolly add either some thai hot sauce or tabasco sauce for some kick with a side of jalapenos.

OfflineFinally, the Flyers, not sure who they'll draw in the next round, hopefully NOT the Rangers, couldn't beat those guys at all this year. As far as the Penguins go, I think the reason I was so adamantly cheering against them is that I'm sick of Sid the Kid hiding behind the refs while cheap shotting and everything else. Listen "Kid", respect is earned and while I don't approve of shots to the head, hockey is a violent, physical sport and you have to expect some contact now and again. You can't have it both ways, if you want protection from refs (aka the league) then play the game and knock it off with the lame thuggery. Lost alot of respect for him and the entire Penguins organization after this playoff.
Playoff hockey RULES!!!

OfflineRight off the bat let me express my undying disgust for Bob Arum and his shadyness regarding the Pacquio fight this past weekend…that's part of the reason I stopped following the sport.
Congrats to the LA Kings, long time coming for them. I was secretly hoping for a Flyers/Kings Stanley Cup Finals but oh well. It was great to see all the ex Flyers finally get rings & the Cup.
Also Congrats to Matt Cain & the San Francisco Giants for getting the first perfect game in Franchise history (includes NY btw). It's probably the first Giants game I missed in 10 years, of course, too bad. For those of you who don't know, a perfect game in baseball is 27 up and 27 down. No hits, walks or error. In addition to 14 or 15 strikeouts, some of the leather be thrown in the field was EPIC.
It would be nice to see OKC Thunder get a title next.
