What is it in your life that you are passionate about? Share them in this thread.

I have several.

Obviously, writing and the paranormal. I actually write more than just paranormal articles – writing is how I make my living and I am blessed. I write just about anything and everything.

Music. I am a classical musician – I play and teach flute, I play piano, I play percussion and I am learning mandolin. While I love classical music, which I feel can be transcendent at time and often brings me to tears, I also love most other styles of music.

Cooking. I love to cook, and I am quite good at it. I also love to entertain. To me, it is a wonderful thing to make a wonderful meal for friends, open an great bottle of wine, and enjoy one another's company.

Wine. We collect it. I love what wine tells you about history, tradition, and the earth in which the grapes are grown. I also like to drink it.

Golf. Don't get to do it enough. Love it all the same.

My family. 'Nuff said.

Decorating. I LOVE to decorate. It is most definitely a passion of mine. I decorated this room:

I'm sure I have more, but I'd love to hear yours.

My Family, anytime we can be together. It's harder when your kids are grown.

Horses, training, riding, and rehabbing off the track, so they are not put down.

My friend and I do about 2 horses a year, then find them good homes.

Sad but true, the ones who walk out of the gate have no future and make wonderful show horese or great family pets.

Horses are just my passion, since i was a child, and being outdoors.

I enjoy mowing and yardwork or gardening.

I finally finished decorating my house, 5 yeas later. lol I did enjoy decorating.

Ready to downsize, but love the peice of land my house is on.

8,000 sz ft is too big for two people.

NoWhammies that is a beautiful room you did.

Travel, I love. Scotland, Ireland and Whales being my favorite places.

I love to get in my car and explore in my area. also.

I enjoy cooking, too.

I love colored gem stones. Its terribly fascinating to me to think that a random collection of chemicals, along with heat and pressure can create something as beautiful as sapphires or garnets, emeralds or rubies. Sapphires are found in all the colors of the rainbow, as are tourmaline. To me, looking into the play of light in the interior of an opal is like peering into another world. I once saw a picture of a diamond that had a ruby inclusion. How cool is that? Did you know that the only difference between a spinel and a ruby is one chemical element? Enough babbling, I guess. Ha! /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Eh, I got nothin'

Animals-there must be a special place in heaven for hopeless animal lovers like me. When I see a movie, they could murder a hundred babies, but if they kill the family pet, I am in tears

China – I collect it. Lenox, Rosenthal, Tirschenreuth, Meissen, etc…

Old Cars – My neighbor restores them. My favorite is her 1957 Chrevrolet Bel Aire, I learned to drive in my Mom's 1966 Mercedes 230sl

Food- being raise in the restaurant industry I was spoiled

Football

Gardening

Information-I think that is why I am so drawn to the paranormal…there is so much info I don't know, but want to learn.

Music

Most importantly, my children.

Gracious, I forgot my husband. We have been married for almost 17 years

Awesome room, NoWhammie! Everyone has such great hobbies. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

MY FAMILY & FRIENDS!!

I love learning, trying, doing new things.

Traveling- I took off on a 3000 mile road trip across the USA once. It was great!

Research

History – esp. cultural, social.

Photography – I did freelance work for awhile and used to have a darkroom in my house, but now with everything going digital, chemicals became too expensive.

Of course, writing and books.

Paranormal.

Museums, live performances.

Movies- esp horror movies and classics

Tattoos and other art forms.

Animals. I have three English Bulldogs. They are the cutest things. And I highly believe in adopting shelter animals.

There's more, lol.

I write books. I take pictures.

I sometimes try to tap into my Jedi powers.

First and foremost, my beloved Monkette! She's the best, her laughter lifts my spirits and smiles brighten my world, always! The kindest person I've ever met. Couldn't imagine life without her and wouldn't want to!

My crazy dog Nilla who is a never ending source of entertainment. She genuinely makes me laugh.

Music, movies, sports and cooking also interest me greatly!

And I'm determined to figure out photoshop yet!

You're gonna make all of the girls swoon, saying stuff like that.

Oh – and photoshop – you're doing pretty well, I think.

My greatest passion is Hunky. We've been married for 11 years and I love him

more today then I did the day we married. Sounds cliche but it's true! /wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I am a huge beach bum and I'm never happier than when I'm on a beach somewhere.

I love deep sea fishing and fresh water fishing. Fishing and camping is probably

one of my favorite pass times. We live in the country on several acres with a large

lake less than 3 miles from our house so we don't get to do as much camping as we'd

like anymore but still enjoy it when we can. I also love boating and jet skiing!

I love my horses. I've owned several though currently only play with our neighbors.

I ride dressage and western but dressage is probably my favorite.

I also love cooking for, and getting together with, a group of family and friends. Nothing better

than good food, good drink and good company. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I enjoyed politics this election more than I have any other. It was the first time I can remember

people getting so passionate and involved in the process, myself included!

I also enjoy reading, anything paranormal, snow machining and traveling.

*edited to add music. How could I forget music, the memories of my life are set to music!

I love anything from classical to metal, the only exception being rap.

I have an idea that the phrase "weaker sex" was coined by some woman to disarm some man she was preparing to overwhelm. ~Ogden Nash

Let's see, I'm a soap maker, and a fiber artist.

I'm engaged luckily to a man that supports my passions as well as shares an extreme interest in the paranormal.

My main paranormal focus is EVP and ITC, and we have a beautiful 7 year old son and a family of rag tag animals /happy.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

We are currently remodeling our home, a 109 year old Colonial, that has documented activity so that keeps us busy.

These are some of the things I make:
