Listening to Joe Bon's – Sloe Gin….very nice on a Sunday morning in the throes of a 3 day weekend. Cleaning the apartment, doing laundry and sorting out books to take to the used book store in Berkeley…and as anyone who knows me knows how much I detest Berkeley, has to be done…there just aren't that many used book stores around anymore, let alone bookstores period.

Coultier had to have back surgery, he was referring to it as long over due. Tearson's been in for a couple of weeks before Bill Wax. I was just curious what you thought of his style, I KNOW how you feel about Pat St. John and on and on and on and on. He (Tearson) has been a fixture on the Philly FM Rock radio scene since the very beginning and for me it's nice to hear a familiar voice.

So Leslie is gigging already after the amputation? Good for him! I guess if Def Leppard can have a one armed drummer then a one legged guitarist shouldn't be such a reach. A bit of a homecoming for Derringer and the Winter Bros.
Should be a good show.
As a personal aside, I used to have a vendor named Mountain West and my contact person was named Leslie. She once said to me you're always laughing when I call and identify myself and she wanted to know why, so I tried to explain about not ever forgetting her name…she had no clue who Mountain was or Mississippi Queen etc….I'm old.

Just got a new Johnny Winter in the mail Live Bootleg Series Volume #8. Was cranking it up in the office before the rest of the staff showed up (one of the advantages of having the run of the office until almost 10am….for the record, one of the disadvantages…waiting to have to go potty, oh well).
