Hello all. You can call me Liz. I live in MN with my husband and one child. I am a financial analyst for a consulting firm. We work with cities, counties and schools. I enjoy crafty things like knitting, sewing and beading. I like to cook, but I love to bake. For quite some time, I didn't believe in spirits or paranormal things. That changed when we moved into our house and weird things started to happen. Unhappily, I've discovered that I'm sensitive to spirits. Usually, I don't talk about this. I can tell when they are around and I can feel their emotions. Not nice. For some reason, I also seem to be able to tell when a teenager is going to do something stupid and dangerous because I typically see them in my dreams. Also not nice. The last time was in April of this year, when I saw the apparition of a teenage man in my mudroom who'd gone missing the night before. He walked away from a party and wasn't seen from again. I knew he had drowned because I felt it when I saw him. He wasn't actually found until a month later in the Mississippi River. I feel so sorry for that poor guy and his parents.

Welcome Liz, glad to see you made it over. As for your abilities, I am sad to hear that such a burden has been put upon you.

I've always wondered why some can see and others can't.

Welcome Liz. I hope you enjoy the underground as much as we do.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. Just wanted to check in…I am thrilled to find this site. I love the paranormal. Had a few experiences. Since I am a beginner, I come with more questions than input.

I was raised in California (suburbs of Los Angeles). I am married with 2 kids, 3 dogs and multiple cats (outside except for Lilly, she gets special priviledges). I am currently trying to escape NW Arkansas and move back to the city.

Welcome to Paranormal Underground LadySciFi! Enjoy the site and post often.

Welcome to the Underground Liz!

It sounds like what happened to you after you moved into your house is very intense. Do you ever get used to it? Or is it always startling/scary, etc.?

Hi Liz!

My heart and thoughts go out to you! This has to be hard on you. I have heard blessing our home may help.

Could this maybe have something to do with your home?

God bless you!

Hi almosthunted, nice to meet you. I've been busy cleaning my flower beds and planting new flowers and flowering bushes. I'm not done yet though.

What is PUG Ugly? I would like to find a good chat room someplace. I'm not good with internet yet but I'm trying to figure things out. My son came over on Mother's Day and helped me figure out a few things on here and he got me a spot on Facebook. He put a picture of my husband and I there so you can see what we look like. My kids are terrific with the internet.

What would you like to know about me? Ask anything? I'm not real sure how to start up so it's easier if you ask me.

Take care and drop me a line. Sherry "Premo"

Welcome to the Underground Liz!

It sounds like what happened to you after you moved into your house is very intense. Do you ever get used to it? Or is it always startling/scary, etc.?

I have to say that I've never been afraid in my own house. Seeing the guy in my mudroom was puzzling and not particularly scary. At first it was unnerving thinking that you aren't really alone in your house. I get a lot of stuff in in a flash and I have to think through it carefully and pay attention. I think I may have a boy hanging around now but he's quiet. Its hard to tell. Although, last night I was thinking about Joseph Wright and my bracelets started to rattle on my dresser. They did it a couple of times. I just told them to go away and leave me alone because I was sick. It stopped. Then there was a bunch of weird thumping noises in the hallway. Was it Joseph? Was it the cat? I don't know. I know I've never heard that sound in the bedroom before. A friend of mine has a mean man who hangs out in her basement and he's nasty. He's scared her kids at times. She's found that she has had to throw him out a number of times. The only time I felt uncomfortable was when I took my daughter to a neighborhood park and I kept getting an impression of dog attack. I felt a menace. My friend came over and said she thought it was two sisters who used to live there and didn't like anyone to be there. I had to laugh….two pit bulls, two sisters? Now, when I go by there on my walks, I mentally give them the finger and tell them to 'f' themselves.

Eh, I got nothin'

Thanks for the thoughts. I don't think its the house per se, because its fairly new. There was a farm family who owned it from 1860-something to the 1980's and I think perhaps they don't want to leave.

I came across this mag on-line & thought it was very interesting. Have never belonged to a forum before & thought it would be a fun experience. Seems like a nice place but everyone seems to know

each other. I hope to meet everyone & have many good discussions.

Hi everybody, My name is Jim, and I write whatever the voices tell me to.

The voices know exactly who they are… And they are monitoring this frequency.

Seriously, though, I write the Quantum Musings column, mostly because my wife Karen (NoWhammies) tells me to. It's the curse of almost understanding this science crap.

My background is in Nuclear Energy, but right now I work (hah!) at a natural-gas fired power plant.

I tend towards the skeptical, but that goes for pretty much everything. Don't even get me started on the hypocrisy of major religion. In all fairness though, I'm much more likely to believe in the Paranormal than I am to believe in our government.

I fart, therefore I art.
