Welcome to the forum Darla…

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

The above are my opinions.

I still consider myself a newbie and when I want to ask questions about this web site or forum, I will come here. I am not sure if a topic of helpful hints for the members by the members has been started. Today, I saved a glass jar for one of my science experiments. I needed to remove the label and that was easy. After I washed the jar, I filled it with water and heated it in a microwave which caused label's glue to soften. The label peeled right off. But I still had the gooey sticky glue on the jar. I sprayed a little WD-40 onto a paper towel and wiped the gooey sticky glue off. What are your thoughts if somebody starts up a helpful hints topic?

Hi Nightwatcher,

I think that's a great idea to start a helpful hints topic.

If you want to get it started, that would be great!

Thank you MysticalKnight, I will start up the help topic in the Off Topic section. I wasn't sure what to call this helpful hints topic. This forum has a lot of very friendly people and we all have ideas for helpful hints and ideas. Some may need help or want a helpful hint or idea so help questions could be asked. We as a group have a lot of helpful ideas and knowledge to share with forum members and the readers that come to read the various comments.

I decided to call this helpful hints topic "Helpful Hints, Ideas and Help Needed" This way, we can all share some very simple and helpful hints and ideas and also forum members could ask questions for simple ideas or information to solve a problem that we all come across at times. We could all offer solutions to simple fixes or ways to save money.

I feel welcome here at the Paranormal Underground website. My health is not good. I could pass on overnight or perhaps I hope to be around a few more years. God willing. I have a lot of information to share that is not at all paranormal. Mankind passed on all kinds of information to future generations. From stone age to the industrial age and beyond. My own knowledge and wisdom is in my mind and written on paper. Once I pass, my mind will also die. I feel that my notes on paper will be thrown out as trash. I feel that my comments in cyberspace will perhaps live on for decades to come.

I'm sorry to hear about your health Nightwatcher, and I hope you have many more years to share your information. You can share anything here, not just paranormal. I always love reading your posts, as they bring up things that make me think. I am so happy that you feel welcomed here.

It appears that I can no longer copy and paste from my note pad or other sources.

Wishing all good tidings during the holidays.

Love to all.

This is where I come to when I need to ask a question about the PUG forums. There is a lot of good reading here on PUG.

I found this in the forums:
http://www.paranormalundergrou…..tigations/
Paranormal Investigations
"Are you a member of a paranormal group or organization or an independent investigator? Post findings from your investigations here."

I am not a paranormal investigator but I do try to make sense of what goes on in my own home and what I read online. Within the Paranormal Investigations main topic I found this about investigations in ones own home. http://www.paranormalundergrou…..-own-home/

I wanted to ask questions to some of the comments posted here. Since I am not a member of any paranormal group, organization or an independent investigator, I feel that it would be against the rules. I do use science to debunk what may be thought of as being paranormal. I was curious if the sewing machine was electric (not the treadle type) and if the sewing machine was plugged into a wall socket if it was electric. I have seen some electrical and air powered machines do some strange things that I was able to find a scientific explanation for. Just asking.

"Please feel free to ask questions or comments in that thread, Nightwatcher."

Thanks for the reply, MysticalKnight. Would I be limited to asking questions and posting comments to just that one thread about investigating ones home or can I ask questions to all of the threads under the "Paranormal Investigations" main topic? I did notice that some information posted on the threads under the main Paranormal Investigations topic such as posted web links and photos (now small squares with x) no longer work.

Hi Nightwatcher,

Feel free to post everywhere as you would like. I have a feeling those nonworking photos/links has to do with our forum conversion from IPBoards to this new WordPress forum. My apologies for these glitches.

I spent some time today reading about theta and delta brain waves. Has anybody started up a topic about these brain waves or a topic about how children seem to be connected to the paranormal but lose the connection as they grow into adults? I am looking back at my own paranormal incidents as a child and as an adult. I have been reading about delta, theta, alpha and beta brain waves. I am also looking to read about gamma brain waves. Here is a link about what I am talking about.

If somebody started up a forum topic on this or something similar, please post a link to it as I may want to add some information to it or start up a new topic as time permits. Thank you.

While logged in, click the red Login/Register button on the right. Logout will be one of the available options in the box that pops up. Sorry that nothing on the site tells you how to do this. I will have to look into it and see what can be done.
