Hello, I just joined yesterday. I have been looking for a friendly forum to share my paranormal experiences that went on for decades. That means that I am an oldster. This forum was recommended to me as having friendly members. In the past, I have been on some paranormal forums where members would go out of their way to attack me and others because of my paranormal experiences and beliefs. Some paranormal events cannot be explained and some can be explained by science. I hope that this is a friendly forum where we can agree to disagree. I am not sure if I should divulge my other interests as they are unrelated to the paranormal. My interest in science has proven some paranormal experiences of others to be explained. Not only do I have my own paranormal experiences to share but those of others that I have spoken with. Hopefully this is the paranormal forum that I have been looking for. Since I am new here, I will probably be making some mistakes. Please bear with me until I become more experienced on this forum. One habit that I have is that I ask a lot of questions. One question that I have is if I can edit my comments after posting them. Also is there a spell check? I didn't see one.

Hi and welcome. I find the members and mods here are very open to paranormal phenomena – many of us have had experiences of that nature. I hope you'll also join us on Thursday nights on ZTalkRadio.com for Paranormal Underground radio. The show is at 6 pm pacific (9 eastern) and has a live chat, as well.
I don't see a spell check….but if you misspell a word it will give you a squiggly red underline, so kind of a live spell check, instead.

Thanks for the welcome. I am still trying to find my way around the forums. I was looking for the forum rules to see what is allowed and what isn't allowed. I like to copy and paste links to web sites. I check the web sites to make sure that they don't contain a virus or malware. I do come across viruses and malware in my search of the internet.
So my questions at this time are where can I read the forum rules again? Also are copy and pasted web links allowed?

The only links we might have issue with is if you were posting links to a commercial website. For example, Ugg Boots.
If it is a link to an information source, such as about ghosts, UFOs, etc, then I see no problem.

I plan to be very active in the forums. Thank you for answering my questions. I believe that this is the right forum that I have been looking for. I try to use the "search" feature for various topics or comments and most of the time I get no results. So excuse me if I mention something that others have commented on. I don't want to start up any duplicate threads.

If for some reason you start a topic on something that has already been covered in another thread, if we recognize it as such, the admins/mods will alert you and move, merge, or whatever needs to be done. So, don't worry about posting something that has already been posted, the mods and admins will take care of it. Though maybe giving it one whirl on the search would be helpful.
So, welcome and post away.
