I will go first.

My name is Sithy, and I first originated on the Sci Fi forums, where I met all of our wonderful mods and admins, though they were regular posters back then. I have been interested in the paranormal all my life. I live in sunny California with my soul mate Mystical Knight. I am a part-time Paranormal Investigator, Writer, as well as being the publisher of our wonderful magazine. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

OK, since Sithy broke the ice on the newbie thread, I'll continue …

I'm MysticalKnight (you can call me Cheryl if you like), and I have also met many wonderful people on the Sci Fi forums, forming many awesome friendships.

The thing I love most about forums, this one in particular, is the exchange of ideas, thoughts, and opinions and the continuing discussion around furthering the paranormal field.

I live in Southern California with my soul mate Sithy /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />. I have two children -- a son and daughter who are wonderful!

I am a writer, editor, and cocreator of Paranormal Underground e-magazine. And I also look forward to hearing from all of you!!!

My name is Ryan and I'm a NREMTP (that's a paramedic) residing outside of Waco, Texas. I can remember seeing ghosts since I was a little kid. My whole family also has had ghost experiences in the past. Not long ago I found some like-minded people that I work with who believe in the paranormal, so we formed a group. We tend to investigate but not fake things like TAPS does. We debunk everything we can and really have to have some hard-core evidence before we declare a place truly haunted.

I have wrote some articles for Paranormal Underground and enjoy creating them. I have a couple of them coming soon in future issues. Along with investigating the paranormal I enjoy a wide range of sports like rock climbing, paintball and attempting golf. I also am a part-time EMS instructor at the local community college and also work as a Tactical Medic on a SWAT team.

Thanks for letting me bore you to death, now wake up.

Seriously, I wish I did half the things you do Ryan. I never knew all that about you. I am impressed!

Mostly it's boring so you're not missing much. But thanks for the compliment.

My name is Karen and I am alcoho….. on wait – that's probably another thread, huh?

I'm Karen. I do stuff for the magazine – whatever anyone asks me to do. I also sweep up the locker room and wash windows. Once they made me scrub the toilet. I like to think I contribute.

I live in Western Washington in a teeny tiny town with my hubby, my teen-aged son and three dogs.

When I am not performing janitorial services for the task masters at Paranormal Underground, I am freelance writer and editor, and I teach music lessons.

I'm happy everyone is here. We're really excited about the new website (although it is so big that it is much harder to clean than the last one. Trust me on this.)

Our goal here is that our members can feel like they have a place where their views are listened to courteously, where their voice is accepted, and where they can feel like they can make a contribution to forwarding the dialogue about the paranormal. We welcome all ideas and all viewpoints. If this sounds like you, apply within. We already have a janitor, so you won't have to do the dishes.

Hello all, I'm Teresa (though I will answer to AH, Tee, or Hey You) :-)

I have been hanging around on forums for the past three years and like our gracious admins, have formed some good friendships on them. I particularly enjoy the exchange of ideas that occur on Paranormal Underground. (suck up comment for the Godfather! :-0!)

I lived in a house for 43 years that seemed to have a lot going on that wasn't normal. Paranormal, you might say! This sparked my interest in the field. I hope to be involved in a group in the future.

I look forward to getting to know all the members here and finding out their points of view.

And Karen, I am soooo glad I don't have to scrub the toilets here! I have to do that at work!

Hi! I'm Carolyn aka GettysburgLady. I'm a former Southern Californian who now lives and works in Gettysburg. Actually, if you want to get technical, I live about 12 minutes outside of Gettysburg. (Too many tourists in town.) I did formal investigations in L.A. for almost 20 years before I moved to Gettysburg. I no longer investigate because, personally, I don't feel a need to prove the existence of spirits anymore. I have seen them, heard them, photographed them, communicate with them and deal with them every time I step into my place of employment which is a hotel on the Gettysburg battlefield. However, I have the utmost respect for those who do and enjoy reading about their experiences at other locations.

I moved to Gettysburg because I am a student of the civil war and wanted a base close to the other battlefields on the East Coast in order to continue my study of this turbulent time in our country's history. I won't deny that the Gettysburg battlefield itself and what happens here spiritually wasn't a huge draw itself. There is definitely something special about this place because of what happened here. You can feel it when you step onto the battlefield.

So, basically, I study what happened here by day and, when I have a chance, I visit my "friends" who still linger here at night. My "friends" also visit me at my job at the hotel where I work nights as the night auditor/manager. They enjoy pulling pranks and doing all kinds of fun things to let us all know they are around. But, you will have to read the magazine to see just what they do!

I also do everything in my power and use every tool I have learned to assist those souls who are stuck here into the light.

I'm a voracious reader and generally read a book a day. I also care for my elderly mom who currently lives with me.

And, by the way, I don't clean toilets at the hotel (or plunge them). I have been asked to do many things on my 16-hour shift at the hotel, but I draw the line there. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I'm Norcalmonkey, most call me Monk or Monkey, either is fine. I was a fan of most of the paranormal shows (Fear, Paranormal State, Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, Most Haunted Live etc) and a regular poster on "the board that shall not be named" until some unfortunate drama beyond my control got me banned permanently. I've had more then my share of strange unexplainable incidents which is what got me interested in the field. A skeptic by nature, let's just say that I'm cautiousily optimistic. A firm believer in a picture is worth a thousand words and as such have been known to wallpaper the boards w/my twisted humor.

Welcome Everyone and hope to see ya 'round the board!

Hi everyone, I'm Sinister Grin, which is the name of my favorite watering hole in college. (Believe you me, it WAS a hole. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I lived in a haint'd house for seven years. We are currently moving from that house to an out-of-state location, so my presence on this wonderful site will be limited for a bit longer.

I have a daughter, a husband and three dogs. My hobbies are trying to make sense of this life, computers, VIDEO GAMES, reading, writing, boating, traveling, fishing, gardening, and home improvement. In other times of my life, I was a semi-professional singer (!), teacher and grave digger.

I'm really into astronomy and technology of any kind. Science is one of my favorite subjects to study. If only I was better in math. :\

Even though I've had some strange stuff happen, I still try to remain very open to all possibilities of what the paranormal actually is. My mind has been forced to re-think certain things, yet I still remain Agnostic in my personal views.

Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Great job on the site, guys!

I'm fairly new to the forum so I mostly lurk in the background. I found the magazine a few months back--GREAT JOB, BTW. I have never seen a paranormal creature, but I believe in the possibilities.

I'm a published author and am pretty laid back. I love research and learning new things, photography, history, films… and I'm enjoying playing around with my profile buttons because I don't feel like doing edits.

/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> That's pretty much all I can think of, LOL.

I write books. I take pictures.

Welcome, Michelle! Thanks for coming out of "lurker status" to introduce yourself! We are happy to have you.

Everyone here is very friendly, so don't be afraid to post if you have something to say or a comment to make in a discussion thread.

By the way, I am one of those 65 million Americans who read romance novels on a regular basis. They are not at all like I imagined they would be when I first started reading them. Tons of history in them!

Howdy all!! I have been interested in the paranormal all of my life, and have only just recently joined a local paranormal group, Northeast Ohio Ghost Society, and have been on a few investigations. I really enjoy this magazine and have learned lots here both from the magazine and from the many diverse people who post here.

I recently was promoted where I work to Store Manager and transfered to a new store where I have some major issues to deal with, so I have been working 6+ days a week and have not had much time to be on any boards lately, but I wanted to make sure all of my friends here know that I am still around! Take care!!
