Our old house sale closed really quickly, but the new house sale took FOREVER. Tanner was six at the time and Kevin was four. The only thing to distract them was TV and the swimming pool. I hate living in a hotel.

So far the house is about half way clean and most of the damaged material has been removed. A temporary electric meter is supposed to be hooked up Monday so the other restoration company can get started as well. Still don't know how long it is going to be before we move back home.

Sorry to hear that, although I know it sucks. When our house was built out builder, incorrectly built one of our fireplaces. We of course turned it on first thing when we were moving in. Smoke damged all through the house, and four weeks in a hotel. I thought we were going to kill each other, during that time.
