The Gathering. Sounds cools. I'll put this on my calendar and hope it works. Thanks for thinking of it, Ghost!
OfflineFor those of you who may stay with us next year, I just wanted to let you know that our Union soldier that I have seen and another night auditor has also seen twice, made an appearance once again last night. He scared the you know what out of our night auditor at 1:00 a.m. He caught her completely off guard.
But, you are going to have to wait until next month to read about it in the magazine. It is a good one!
Yes, Kim, I'll show you where and tell you the whole thing when you visit us in two weeks!

…and if you see him, ask him if he will come back for a visit on the 20th. : ) See you then.
OfflineThings are starting to slowly gain momentum. The idea is getting some good feedback as people are realizing it IS NOT a convention . No paying high prices for attending a convention. No paying extra for workshops. No paying extra for those paid investigations they offer just bring your camera with you and enjoy.
The gathering is for people who are close enough, taking a day trip or mini vacation to Gettysburg for enjoying one of the supposed most haunted areas in America. Not to mention the history surrounding the whole area. The Gettysburg area is also geared as a tourist area so there is plenty to do. The gathering is for the individual’s enjoyment and possibly interacting with others in the Paranormal field if they choose. A great casual way to meet people and promote the unity in the Paranormal field I hear so many people talk about.
The 2011 gathering is intended to be about fun. It is about combining the fun and excitement of ghost hunting with the fun of being on vacation? Doesn't the idea of going on a haunted vacation seem like a great time? You can come with the family, friends or just by yourself.
If you are looking for some vacation ideas or just plain curious about what there is to do in the area, be sure to check any of the Gettysburg info sites. Don't forget our own Gettysburg Lady here on PUG also.
Remember this is just an idea that was in my head. I am not sponsoring it and it doesn't belong to me. It belongs to all of you and will only work if everyone wants it to. It will be up to people to spread the word to make it a success. So check out the Fan page on Facebook or bookmark this and check back from time to time on the progress.
For those who can go I will see you next AUG.
Kim,
I've been MIA for some time… What a GREAT idea! I love Gettysburg. We've been to the area a few times, even somewhat recently. We're considering buying this house: http://www.historicproperties……m/detail.a…il_key=maget029
The land there is so beautiful, amazing and overwhelming. We'll be making many return trips, so maybe we'll plan one on the same dates as the gathering. The first time we visited Gettsyburg, we stayed for a week at the Farnsworth Inn B&B and loved it. That's "our place" whenever we go to the great Battlefield!

What a co-inky-dink! LOL
I looked at the same house online recently. I am looking for more land though. There are a few around with 80 acres or more and then there is my Dream Property
However, I will have to win the lottery for this one. LOL The house is really not my taste so I would have to tear it down and start from scratch…

Are you trying to tell me you don't love the green, teal and yellow kitchen?? *lol*
The land is phenomenal, though. It would be spectacular to live there in the beauty, and it sure has the land you want!
Speaking of the lotto… I had a dream the other night and the numbers 6 and 16 kept coming into play. I told my husband about it the next day and he played the lotto with those numbers. They were the first two on the list so he won all of $7. It was last week, when someone in NJ won the giant one ($220-something mil) the same night. But darnit, my numbers were there!!! *lol*
We really want to get into the B&B business, but I don't want to do it here. The tricky part would be to buy that house in PA and figure out how to run a business while living here. We'd probably have to spend time there to get it up and running, and once it's stable we could come back to Salem. We're in the talks about it, nothing set in stone. I looove the house though.

LMAO… I guess there is no accounting for taste. To each his own.
So you want to get into the B&B business in Pa? Here is one you might like. B&B For Sale Not far from Gettysburg either.
Ooooh…that one is awesome!! Thanks for sharing. How far is Fairfield from GB? I suppose I could just look it up myself… *lol*
We're originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area. Lived in Columbus for 3 years (Dublin to be precise) and moved to Salem, MA last spring. LOVE it here…. I will not live anywhere but right on the east coast. Our house is 300 feet from the Atlantic Ocean! So if you ever come my way, let me know. I have lots of in's and can tell you lots of places to check out in the area, that are a lot less commecialized. Some are… but unless you live in the area and really get to know it, you won't be aware of the more cool paranormal things to do and see. On top of the typical tourism, of course!

It's only a few miles outside of town. I haven't been to Salem in about 7 or 8 years. We do a New England weekend every year or so. Last time it was Plymouth and we stopped in Newport and Lizzie Borden's on the way home. I love New England. My father was from CT.
If we go to Salem I will get the low down from you before coming.
OfflineI'm really looking forward to this and will be booking our room
in the next couple days.
I look forward to meeting everyone. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
Hey, Heidi, I saw you were planning to drive all night and get there early
in the morning. If you know where you and Keith will be staying let me know
and I'll see if we can book in the same hotel or close by.

Hope you had a great, successful visit at Gettysburg this past weekend. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing all about it – if not here, catch me on Facebook.

Thanks. Just got back from Gettysburg. Very interesting weekend. Had our groups portrait done also. It took a while but I like it.
Just a funny note… The lady on the right with the skull is also named Becky M.
You can see the TAGGED PHOTO on Facebook.
