Well folks, start packing and warm up the car. This time next week we will be heading home and hopefully had a good time at the Gathering and made a lot of good contacts and met a lot of nice people. I am looking forward to any feedback (positive or negative) that will help in our determination of whether or not we should do it again

If those that see this could respond with the number that will be at the M&G, it would help the home owner estimate how much food and refreshments to get.

I will also have a personal guest book at the meet & greet. This is just for those who would like to keep in touch about upcoming events and to leave comments. No email addresses or personal info will ever be given out to anyone. The main guest book will be at the IMSI museum downtown where you get the wristbands.

Ghostbreakers -- You have done a great job adding many events and activities for this gathering throughout this thread……

Could you post a schedule with all that is going on, maybe in the original post, so it would be easy to find for those like me who can't remember all that has been posted………

Ok, everyone here is the last update… (I think, LOL) & everything in BLUE is a link.

I revised the link for the Meet and Greet Investigations at haunted David Stewart Farm in case anyone got the broken link.

Also Laine Crosby Investigative Medium has asked for people to please sign the guest book for a chance to win a reading from her. The GhostBreakers will also have a Guest Book for those who would like to make comments or leave a critique so I can determine if we should try this again. Any info left in the book will remain confidential with the GhostBreakers.

Some type Refreshments and lunch WILL be available for purchase. Not to mention the addition of the PORTA-POTTY.

Last but not least Mark Nesbitt will be joining her with his new book Ghosts of Gettysburg 7, and the crew from GhostChannel.TV will be taking pictures. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone.

I also wanted to remind everyone to stop by the IMSI museum at 231 Baltimore St to sign the guest book for the Gathering. The first 200 people will get a Paranormal Gathering wrist band so people will know you are part of the gathering and know who to introduce themselves to.

…Also IMSI will be hosting a book signing by Sandiee Peters on Friday Aug 5th between 3 & 6pm. She will also be a guest investigator on Friday's IMSI investigation so sign up soon.

The M&G property owner will be also be offering two short investigations for those interested and an overnight one too. The investigation of the Farm will be hosted by Laine Crosby Investigative Medium at the farm. The details and how much and how to sign up are posted on Laine Crosby's web site so check it out.

I also wanted to let people know that these things are being offered by the above mentioned individuals and not by the GhostBreakers so they deserve the credit and praise. You can also see their postings, maps, photos, directions and ask questions on the Paranormal Gatherings Facebook Page.

So I hope everyone has a good time exploring the town, it's ghost tours, investigations, etc. and I will see most everyone at the Meet & Greet.

One last thing someone wanted me to add!!!

Hi everyone, just a little reminder for those of you interested in investigating some of the less known haunted outdoor places in Gettysburg Saturday night (free).

We'll be leaving from my 1860's house in Gettysburg, on Middle street Saturday night at 7pm. You can feel free to arrive at my house at 6pm to hear some history on the locations we are going to visit.

Call me on my cell phone AFTER THURSDAY for more info, or speak with me at the meet and greet on Saturday. Looking forward to meeting everyone ! 717 420-7214

P.S.

The signs I was hoping for didn't arrive so, this is what to look for on the Fairfield road that will designate the Farm for the M&G.

…and here is a PHOTO of the FARM…

…and a MAP of GETTYSBURG…

for everyone to find their way around town.

Hope this helps.

Excellent, thanks for putting it all in one place for us scatterbrains. We got into town yesterday and so far have been to the Diorama and took one battlefield tour by bus. Trying to get oriented and adjust to the city traffic, the Middle Street detour had us really discombobulated because our Tom Tom did not recognize it. We tried to sign in at the IMSI but they are closed until Wednesday at noon. Going on the Sleepy Hollow Candlelit Ghostwalk tonight. It's supposed to storm so that will make all the spookier for the storyteller's tales. Hot and sunny today, beautiful summer weather. Looking forward to meeting all of our PUG members this weekend!

No problem. Hope it helps a little. Did you get a photo of the diorama? You can get a good feel for the places around town that might have activity.

Unfortunately I think there will be a lot of confusion around town for the next year or so while they fix things up for the 150th anniversary. Still if you take your time and look at a map the town is easy to get around. If you get the chance walk a little further downtown to Ghosts of Gettysburg tours also and ask for the Carlisle St. tour that takes you through the college. It was very interesting the last time I took it.

IMSI will be open on Wed but I can't get into town until Fri so people will have to go back after lunch on Friday to get their wristbands. There will also be a personal GhostBreakers Guestbook at the Meet & Greet. This is just for us for people to jot down their names or groups and leave a comment.

Where & when are the PUG people going to meet?

I don't think so or I forgot? I know a lot of people on the FB page said to meet at Devils Den on Friday at 6pm. Some said O'Rourks, Pike tavern etc. Someone give a place & time and we can just do it.

Kim, why don't you pick a time and place for PUG members to meet, since you seem to really know the area. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

I will be arriving tonight, so I'll check in here to see what is decided.

See everyone in Gettysburg!!!!

Ok what about the Brewing Company at the General Lee hotel. Saturday after the Meet & Greet. Say, 3pm?

That way people will have already done the M&G, had their lunches, it will be before any evening ghost tours, etc. Can meet for a short time and then people can make plans to meet later or take tours together etc. Besides, the M&G property owners son is the manager there.

Also, lastly I have to stress…

If you are investigating on battlefield owned by the National Park service you should know EMF detectors of any kind are strictly prohibited and the National Park service will fine you and take your equipment at a minimum.

Also the National Park service battlefield closes at 10pm and they take that very seriously.

We want everyone to have a good time but we must follow the rules.

Besides, the town and surrounding area is much more active than the battlefields.

I didn't know aout the EMF detectors. The Brewing Company sounds good to me. We were going to have trouble making it in time for dinner

on Friday.

Is anyone planning on any activities on Friday night? I would like to at least visit the battlefield or take a tour.

What time Friday will you be getting in? Some people are trying to meet at 6pm at Devils Den but nothing else is set for Friday.

I think most are just doing there own thing on Friday since most will be getting into town then and then making plans with each other at the M&G.

I am doing a tour on Fri and Sat night. Haven't decided which tours which day yet. One of the college and the other of Jenny Wade or the orphanage.

We should be there between 6 and 7. That work thing ended up getting in the way.

We have been on a couple of the downtown walks which were interesting.

All three of those locations are on my to do list.

I also have been at Devil's Den when it gets dark. Unfortunately it was winter and the park closed at 7.

I'm going to try and get in touch with Milo this afternoon, maybe they'll want to do something Friday night also.

I'll check back to see if anything has been decided.

Well, for Dinner on Friday after Devils Den I am going to try the Fairfield Inn in Fairfield pa. Not far outside of Gettysburg.

I haven't been there yet so I don't know the prices but I understand they have great comfort type foods. Some old fashion type meals but not sure of the prices.

There are directions on the site to the Inn that will also take you to the Meet & Greet which is a couple miles before Fairfield.

We can meet up at the Devils Den Friday night (are we talking the actual Devils Den on the battlefield below Little Round Top or is it place of business?). Then we can have dinner and go on a tour. Still on my wish list is the orphanage and the college. I have family in town too so I may have to bow out here and there so I get to spend time with them too.
