OfflineWell, we are getting even closer. Only 1 more month until the Gathering. Here is a little more info for those interested in attending.
Our FB event page has 133 people saying they will attend and I am sure there will be more. I may have forgotten to mention that the property is reported to be haunted for at least the past 30 or so years as reported by the children of the homeowner. The property owner will be there to answer questions and point out interesting spots on the property. There will be a designated parking area.
In about a week I will post a ariel photo of the property to show where everything is and where we can and cannot go. It will be easy to find and just down the road from the General Lee Inn. Carolyn will know where it is also.
If you are attending please visit IMSI ( International Museum of Spiritual Investigations )@ 231 Baltimore street in downtown Gettysburg. They will be keeping a guest book of those attending the Gettysburg Gathering and can also help with guiding people around town and how to get to the Meet & Greet. Not tracking people just seeing how many people came and if we should do it again next year. They also have investigations that weekend.
Don't forget to take the Ghosts of Gettysburg tours. (I recommend the College Campus one) Also the Jennie Wade house tour is an interesting one. Be sure to get your tickets during the day, they go fast. There is also a new Pennsylvania Paranormal Magazine and I am trying to get them to come and do a story on the Gathering from the non-celebrity point of view since that is what this is all about. There will also be an investigative medium from Maryland there to give her take on the property. Just a few things to make it a little more interesting.
Also I added a few more shirts on my Cafe Press account with the Gathering logo on them for people that don't have group t-shirts and want to be recognized by other people and groups as part of the paranormal community while in Gettysburg. There is an economy T-shirt for about $10 and others too. This is not a push to buy mine. It is just if people want. They will be removed after the event. This is what the shirt logo looks like below. I bought a few of the long sleeved ones and they are good quality.
However the meet & greet is only 3 hours and this is about YOU having a good time and enjoying Gettysburg for what it has to offer. So have a great weekend. Ask others for pointers if you are unfamiliar with the area and send for your FREE Gettysburg Visitors Guide .

OfflineI can't wait!!
Gettysburg Eddie's is a very good place to eat. We can maybe meet you there on Sat. The Appalachian Breing Co. at the General Lee Headquarters is good too.
This is going to be great.
We have visited Gettysburg many times and I wasn't aware there was a Museum of Spiritual Investigations. I would also like to spend one night on the battlefield
if anyone is interested. There are also ghost tours and hunts that go into houses. That is in my plans too.
It will be so much fun to meet everyone.
OfflineThe Appalachian Brewing Co. at the General Lee Headquarters is good too.
This is going to be great.
As coincidence would have it, the manager at the Brewing Co. is the son of the owner of the property where we are having the meet & greet. He had a very interesting experience while growing up there too.
I think the people from PUG wanted to meet at the brewing co. too. Maybe for Dinner on Friday or Saturday night or just for Drinks.
Anyone have any ideas when would be a good time to meet at the brewing company on Fri or Sat.

We are staying there so either night would be good. They have a pretty large room downstairs that I am sure we could use.
We will be getting there on Friday but just let me know when to be there.
OfflineI am so ready for the Gathering…..it is going to be a great weekend.
What about trying to meet Friday at the Brewing Co.? People that have already been to Gettysburg might be able to give some insight on things to do or see to the first-timers……any thoughts?
Now that sounds like a plan. What's a good time? Maybe 5 or 6. Then people can get dinner if they want or just drinks. Let's see some more suggestions and then we can decide…

Thanks Kim…..
What would everyone think about making it between 6 and 6:30?
Hopefully that will give some later arrivals the time to get there….just a thought.
OfflineI talked to the managers mother and the brewing company has a wedding rehearsal dinner booked for that Friday evening, so the downstairs room isn't available. There is another room upstairs, but they use that for overflow dining and on a Friday night in the summer it's always busy.
She suggested maybe the Pike Bar/restaurant on Baltimore Pike. The link is http://www.thepikerestaurant.com/home They have lots of parking and the outside deck is big.
Or O’Rourke’s on Steinweir Ave. O’Rourke’s http://www.ororkespub.com/ is also nice and has an outside area, but not as big and parking can be a problem. But it is on Steinweir Ave in the middle of all the attractions so people in town doing tourist stuff can walk there whereas they would want to drive to the Pike.
Depending on how many people from PUG come. If it’s only a few and people don't mind walking then we can really meet anywhere in town. There are 2 large parking areas near the South end of town. We have time to decide. So if anyone has any other suggestions please throw them out there.
