Tis my favorite month of the year. October where we get scary movies in all their glory, SyFy glory or not. Not only will the television be playing them (along with a Charlie Brown Halloween) but every movie theatre will be packed with horror movies. Then we get all the horror houses open and advertising commercials on tv and the radio 24/7. It's bad that I have a major one just two miles from my house. I've even went there and picked up patients.

Then we have Halloween at the very end of the month. I love to decorate my front yard with skulls, ghosts and other scary stuff. Just so anyone that comes by can get scared but not get candy. Why? Because my family goes out to the annual Zoo Boo every year. No candy to buy then. Plus we dress up with the kids.

I just love this time of the year.

It's even better than tax season.

October is my favorite Month too…but Not because of Halloween /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I do enjoy scary movies though. I'm not a huge Halloween fan. My husband use to really

get into it. He'd get all dressed up to take Matthew and Nick out T-and-Ting. Not me haha.

I hate when Halloween is on a school night (so I've actually enjoyed the last 2 years),

by the time we get home I'm having to rush Colin to bed and he's all wound up from

the night.

October is the unofficial scariest month of the year, home of my favorite holiday, and I think its the most beautiful month of the year too. Screw spring! Autumn ROCKS!!

2012? Seriously? I survived Y2K, 9/11, 6/6/6, 9/9/9, H1N1, & Swine Flu. BRING IT ON!!!

I love this month, too! The trick or treaters, the fall, the decorations, the feel in the air, falling leaves, great tv, candy…

I write books. I take pictures.

Yes….I'm a Halloween junkie also….

We have a huge "Shrimp Boil"/"Halloween Party" every year.

Pumpkins and decorations all over the place….great food, great friends, cool weather, a huge bonfire, just a great time.

It amazing how people get freaked out just by walking around in the dark, in the woods……and when you have 20 acres……it's quite easy…… /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Halloween? How can anyone think of Halloween when we have baseball to fixate on? Go Phillies!

In all seriousness, I love October simply because of the weather. It does help that the best movies come out about now too. I need to squeeze all my move going in this month because next month is when the new arrival comes. I won't be seeing many movies after that!

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

I am REALLY hoping Chad doesn't have to work on Halloween.

Corey has a soccer game at 3 p.m. that day, but we should be home in time for Halloween festivities!!!

I LOVE October. The whole month but especially Halloween. I would trade every other holiday in to make them Halloween. Its the highlight of my whole year. Plus great weather. Not too hot and not too cold. And October just feels different doesnt it?

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

(1) eat less,

(2) don’t ask for money all the time,

(3) are easier to train,

(4) normally come when called,

(5) never ask to drive the car,

(6) don’t smoke or drink,

(7) don’t want to wear your clothes,

(8) don’t have to buy the latest fashions,

(9) don’t need a gazillion dollars for college and

(10) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children ..
