perhaps if they spent more time showing sports and less time on back story they wouldn't have these rampant cases of hoof in mouth disease. That's been my main complaint about the olympics for the last 10 years or so. Multiple channels showing reporters interviewing other reporters about events we haven't seen or have been beaten into the ground. Just show the dang games…I don't care if suzie creamcheese lived on the floor of an ice skating rink lockerroom in british columbia SKATE FOR PETE'S SAKE. As far as being sexist, most men DON'T have cat fights but in all fairness they could've said something along the lines of "stylistic differences led to the team dissolution" (or something like that). To be honest, I get so fed up w/the knuckleheads calling the events, I turn the volume down, the music up and try to figure out the rules on my own…makes viewing more interesting.

I only watch the hockey games. And there has been some great ones.

I'd have to agree that the hockey has, for the most part, been fantastic. I've been watching both the men's & women's games as i'm such a hockey freak. I WILL say however that some of those preliminary opening round blow outs were embarrassing and I don't see how such massive drubbings do anything to kindle int'l competitive camaraderie. I've had more then my share of curling to last a lifetime, what's next? Olympic paint drying watching?
