I NEVER do the apps! No farmtown, no farmville, no cafeworld, nothng. I get a lot of requests, but, nope, never join. I use facebook to catch up with family and friends, once in a while I play family feud, just to kill time, but can only play 2 rounds a day, it wont let me have more and thats fine. I get bored by the time im done anyway.

Frontierville is VERY additive!

Not a fan of Facebook, myspace, twitter or any of that stuff. I'm just not that interested in it nor do I think that (aside from Monkette) there's anything that happening going on in my life. I'm also not one of those people that mistaken believes every bit of minutiae in my daily life would interest anyone else. It would cut into my Monkette and exercise time and nothing comes before my girl or my health. Look, I understand/appreciate the allure/appeal it has for some folks who are more outgoing social beings then myself, but I find it to be extremely voyeuristic and a little bit of an impediment upon my privacy. I don't know a delicate way to put this, so let me just say someone I know here in Norcal started asking me real personal questions about my sisters and their families. When I asked how they had this information, they told me Facebook. I don't remember doing so, but apparently he befriended me somehow and now he was trolling through my family or anyone he suspected to be in my family. It made me very uncomfortable and concerned to say the least. I got nothing to hide nor am I ashamed of my family (quite the contrary actually), but I like to have control over who gets that information especially when I'm not entirely certain of this person's intent. Not to mention the DELUGE of friend requests from people I went to high school and college w/. My feeling is that I'm not the hardest person to track down necessarily and if these people wanted to rekindle our friendships there are other less public ways of doing so that could've happened long before now. Just not my cup of tea.

I was just fine with Mafia Wars, and then thanks to Chad … I'm now addicted to Frontierville.
