<p>	New principle last year observed him, had a meeting with us at the end of the year. </p>
<p>	This year his schedule includes: </p>
<p>	Honours Chemistry </p>
<p>	Advanced Algebra </p>
<p>	Band (4th year playing Tuba) </p>
<p>	He&#39;s a brilliant kid, bored to tears with the mundane. He&#39;s excited about school this year. :: breathes a sigh of relief :</p>

	If it&#39;s none of my business just say so, but what was their reasoning for not allowing him to participate in the advanced classes.  I had a similar situation concerning math while in high school but didn&#39;t win the battle.  It would appear no one was listening.  My grades were always really good never understood.  They told me I didn&#39;t have the apptitude.  Meanwhile I was bringing home 7 A&#39;s and 1 B every semester (and the B wasn&#39;t even in  Math or Science).  My parents were older and in ill health at the time and the constant fighting wore on them a bit.  I couldn&#39;t justify endangering their health and just made do w/being really bored at school.</p>
