OfflineSo, I created the website Support for the Haunted. For some reason, I have been having problems with the web hosting, yola, so I just bought better web hosting. Now, I need to get all the info transferred, which should be rather easy, but time consuming. Unfortunately, yola had free, generic templates, which is what I was using. Now I need new graphics/background whatever for the site, but I am not so good with this kind of thing, especially since I have forgotten the very very little html I knew. I was wondering if anyone who knows html and is good with graphics would be willing to help out? Support for the Haunted is free, and is to help those experiencing a haunting. So, I cannot pay anyone, but credit would be given if I used your graphics on the site.
Thanks,
Sam
OfflineOk, I took a break from working on the website, and was kind of feeling discouraged about it. Can it really help anyone? But I am determined to make it the best website I can and if I help even just one person, that's enough for me. So, I've been trying to come up with ideas on how to make the website better, and add more resources, etc.
I have to thoughts at the moment:
1. Compile a list of demonologists/clergy, counselors/psychologists, and perhaps referrals for like rehabd and stuff. I'm not sure if this would actually be on the website, or just for me for refernece if someone needs it. I also don't know how to suggest people use these things, but since I know that in some cases 'paranormal experiences' can be because of drugs or mental illness, or abuse, these things might be helpful. I just don't have the idea sorted out completely yet.
2. This is something I'm definitely going to add. A page on what to look for in a paranormal group, so that if someone wants an investigation, they can find the best group for them. This would include questions to ask the group such as "do you charge?", "do you use orbs/mist as evidence?", "do you use psychics/sensitives?", etc.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Are they good ideas or bad? What do you think? Would this be helpful to someone going through a haunting?

I think it's great that you are trying to help people Sam!
Having listings sounds like a good idea, but make sure to include language that you can't personally guarantee anyone's services. That you are just making available potential contacts for people.

OfflineSo today as I was working on my website, I realized I don't know quite enough to, you know, do it myself. Lol. I need help publishing it. I am using a yahoo domain name, and bluehost.com for hosting. I tried to publish my site, and it says that it can't access my domain as an FTP server. or something like that. Anyone know what the heck I'm doing wrong? I set up the domain like it said. (changed the name servers) I really need to get this site up. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance,
Sam
