OfflineWell, that's the upside of living here…downside is the COST of living here, the fact that the state's going bankrupt, rampant gang violence and the ever present tidal wave of illegal aliens. But hey California right? The land of the fruits and nuts….
well, maybe i wont move after all /unsure.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
new hampshire isn't cheap living, but i'm sure it is compared to San Fran
and basically it's a quiet, safe place to live /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />

You can always put on more clothes to keep warm and dig out of a blizzard. About a year ago I thought I missed snow, then I went up to the Sierra Nevadas on the way to Reno/Lake Tahoe….yeah not missing the snow.

That reminds me of something I read recently about a comment a writer had about Minnesota. She said its like a public library. Quiet, contemplative and plenty of parking.

Not to mention the ever-present threat of sliding into the Pacific during the next "big one".
Then again, WA is overdue for the next 9.0 when the Juan De Fuca plate shifts. Our saving grace is that the fault is offshore and we're 50 miles inland, plus we're 200 ft up above the valley on solid limestone. Our last local 7.0 (30 miles from the epicenter) barely nudged one picture out of level.

OfflineGood Morning!
Going to the battlefield tonight with my friend and co-worker, Courtney. It is our last hurrah on the battlefield together because she is leaving the area for her husband's new job. I hope the boys give her a proper send off.
